I'm in that "post 40" crowd too, thinking of having this soon. Exactly what er, ah...."position' do they put you in for the procedure? ie., face down, on your back, on your side? Glad your procedure came out well.....

Did the Carnival Conquest to the GOM last Oct. - Be prepared to tip every tom/dick/harry. - + they add tips @ $10 per day/per guest. - Be back on the boat when they say, cause they will leave your ass sitting on the dock. No BS! We left people in every port!!! Carnival shore excursions = they won't leave you......... - We saw lots of people bringing sodas along. Evidently no need to hide. Otherwise, it about $40 for a "soda card". But, it's 1 soda per visit to the bar. - Enjoyed the cruise, but the food wasn't "that" good

my bad. If his first sergeant isn't cooperating, and you feel this will come to something serious, I suggest going straight to the top. Call his post commanding officer. I'm sure you can find a name on the web. Trust me, that will start a serious ball-o-shit rolling down toward said soldier...............

Rent a bigger plane for the weekend?
Beerlight replied to jcbfly's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
agree with calling Mullins. He came to our 2 Cessna DZ (2600ft grass strip) some years back. Just line up your jumpers prior to be able to support it.... -

I'm pulling for LSU, but they seriously pissed me off with the unsportsman like conduct after that fumble........ -
Have you even try to convince your parents....
Beerlight replied to FlyinDawg's topic in The Bonfire
My mom has never flown in a plane. Yet, I have over 3000 hrs in them. My parents actually support my flying and the few jumps I've made........lucky me. -
Is it better to eat a meal before you go for a
Beerlight replied to SkydiveStMarys's topic in The Bonfire
Quote"afterwards good to get some carbs immediately, and some protein within 90 minutes." Why?Quote Yep, what kelpdiver said...... It's said the meal post-workout is especially important. Something about muscle breakdown and restoration of said muscles. I'm NOT an excercise physiologist! But, I know peoples..... -

Did you really know the risks?
Beerlight replied to shermanator's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I had been flying jumpers for 3 years before my first (thanks DZO), so in my case, yes I knew the risks quite well...... but I would say I saw lots and lots of tandems come out that prolly didn't know a lot. -
That sucks JT... Forking thieves! Sorry, but have to ask, what did you think of the Garmin 200? I was thinking of one....

Eloy boogie - the drawback of the road trip - can you help?
Beerlight replied to gNemo's topic in The Bonfire
That ain't no rant, that be a very long winded whine...... So, you were speeding.....driving tired.......and had some water on the road........and that makes you...HATE Texas? Like you said, Texas doesn't want you!!! -
Now that is the best response yet!!! Although being on active duty, you can designate just about anywhere as being your "state of residence"... I had an expired Mississippi DL for about 10 years, and was a resident of Texas... ie, no state tax but they more than make of for that in "other" taxes.

think I found it here: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/administration/driver_licensing_control/militaryrenewal.htm something along the lines of, "MILITARY “The validity of any Texas driver’s license held by any person who enters or is in the United States armed forces shall continue in full force and effect so long as the service continues and the person remains absent from this State, and for not to exceed ninety (90) days following the date on which the licensee is honorably separated from such service or returns to this State, unless the license is sooner suspended, cancelled, or revoked for cause as provided by law.” Legislation effective September 1, 1971"[url]

Yea, I guess that 22 years on active duty did nothing for me..... Fuck yea your first shirt will know. Or they will know what office to contact..........
