    It will get better once you get on gear that is your size, not one size fits most. But untill then ask your instructors which way to rotate your leg straps to make it better. Also make sure hip rings (or were leg straps are sewn together) are close to the top of your hip bone. Both of these will make opening better. Congrats!!!!

    That is why i didnt go into detail about how to do it solo. Cuase he should ask an instructor how to do it in person so the instructor can show him how to streemline his body to get out of it.     Flat spin was prob. referd to as while still free falling. Do search on you tube or skydivingmovies.com for flat spin. Has happened with tandems, but you can initiat it solo jumping. There is a video about it for TM's. It is very dangerous. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!

    The way you speek, it sounds as if you were a local??? I know this is never a issue at SDD. I leave both my rigs laying around and left a neptune in floor for over a week with no issues.     Really well said. Something that a lot of us on here need to remember sometimes. Presentation matters just as much, if not more, than the content of the words. I agree very well said.     As much as we would love you to come to Texas for some jumps, we dont have a tunnel. But there is only one place i can recomend. Colorado tunnel and Mile hi for jumps. SV colorado is the place for the best instructors

    I mostly only use packers, but i am not ignorant about my gear. I mostly jump on fridays. While the packer is packing i conduct buis. calls. I also own 2 rigs so i can do back to back loads. I only have one day a week to jump. I have to make it count. What is wrong with that??? Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!

    Looking at the pilot works great in a smaller AC. Get in an otter and be in the 1st group to exit and let me know how that works. I never said you or anyone else should blindly follow a light, try using common sence. If plane is still climbing at 2000 Ft with light on dont jump. If spot is bad dont jump. But If you at 13,500 and pilot cuts back speed and levels plain. Then signals to open door, then gives a green light. You also like spot and have checked airspace, then i will exit. See above. Dont blindly follow light Like i said personal communication with pilot is great if you can do so. If not then use common sence and exit when the pilots says it is ok and you think it is ok.
