I am looking to start flying video and later with an SLR. I am planing a setup now so I can figure out how much money I will need. Video is where I need the help. I am looking at a canon HV30, mainly because I love canon and from my experience they tend to make the best stuff on the market. There are ABSOLUTELY instructors that have made me extremely nervous. I have just tried to associate with the good ones and avoid/ ignore the bad. Its not necessarily that they are not knowledgeable instructors, just that they have an exceptionally poor teaching style. I am fortunate enough to have been trained at a DZ (the farm) where there are far more good/ great instructors than bad ones. But then again what the hell do I know, I only have 67 jumps. I wouldn't worry about the pack of hippies that roam the speakers corner spewing their crap and attempting to intimidate anyone who disagrees with them (looks at mods) with a ban. I have learned to just avoid the speakers corner for the most part, its kind of a joke how seriously some people take it.
