    Sounds like you've been reading the Sad news for tandem thread and the first skydiving fatality this year that happened in FL... A buddy and I were out for a few beers tonight and started talking about this same subject. The unfortunate woman in OH with the mindless TI, and the rush to be a wingsuiter kid in FL. Both situations point to lack of attention to detail, and the overall sense of complacency that comes with X amount of jumps. My .02 is to recognize that each jump could be your last, so you should do everything you possibly can to defeat that chance. Check your chest strap, emergency handles, and leg straps and other gear methodically and in a consistent manner so you never miss a step, and so that you can quickly recognize a potential problem with your gear. In other words stay frosty, complacency kills. ZC OG

    "a. Approaches and docking should stop no lower than 2,500 feet AGL." I'm guily of bending this rule recently myself. If I may ask what did you almost learn the hard way? ZC OG

    The reason they dont sell for much is b/c they have been discontinued by Aerodyne. I started jumping a Diablo 170 right after AFF (Im 165 out the Door) and never had an issue with it. While it is ground hungry and turns fast, if you dont overload it, or do dumb shit close to the ground, you should be fine. I loved mine so much I now rock a Diablo 150. ZC OG

In this situation the CASA was being used as a runway paper weight 5 mintues down the road. Pretty frustrating when you travel from several hours away... ZC OG

    I just got a pair of the Deepseed freefly pants about 3 weeks ago. I've jumped them the last 2 weekends and absolutely love them. The material is thick and durable, the zipper is strong, and the velcro on around the ankles is great. Overall, you pay a little more, but you can tell that there stuff is built to last and it looks great too. I think one of thier freefly suits is next on my list.. ZC OG

    Hell yeah man! If you really do have a Balloon connection, hit up gweeks that started this thread, he would be the one to talk to. Just got back from STP and can testify that that CASA is a skydiving machine! We had a blast jumping from it all weekend, can't wait till it's at Delmarva! MAX! MAX! MAX! ZC OG

    Has anyone seen the new commercial for an up and coming racing video game (not sure which platform) that has a bunch of guys dumping out of a rear exit plane with a dune buggy, and ATV? I saw it this weekend at the DZ and would love to find the commercial on Youtube but forgot the name of the game. Beer light must have been on for some time. Anyway let me you if you've seen it or know the name of the game. ZC OG

    Thanks for the info guys I called UPT and talked to Mark K who was very helpful. He went over the pack volumes of the container and the canopy and determined it would be fine.. I bought the container and hooked up the canopy and just like it said it fits like a glove! Now if i can only get my hands on a PD 160R.... ZC OG

    Anyone jump a Vector V2-2 with a 170 zp canopy? I got a newer (2000ish) Diablo i want to stick in it but im not sure how tight it will be... UPT manual says V2-2 Main Pack volume is Min-400 Max-480 Not sure what the pack volume is for the 170 Diablo....that might give me my answer. Any help is appreciated ZC OG
