There is a Greek restaurant here that makes the 'BEST' Avgolemono soup (egg, chicken, lemon, rice). I haven't found anyplace else that makes it as good, other than maybe the church bazaar, but then it might be made by the same people, I don't know. Yyyuuummmyy! The locals here in Seattle, definitely will mention Dick's Drive In for their french fries, burgers and shakes! We're not talking fast food fries here, but fresh cut french fries!! Yuuuummm! My grandson just started preschool and they must be learning what traffic lights mean! His preschool is currently working on re-schooling him. They're telling him that a "yellow light" means "Go very slow". He insists it means "put the hammer down", as his Daddy taught him!! That makes a great conversation starter. Sit in the waiting room and be really quiet for 15 minutes. Then, turn to the person next to you and say, "I have a bug in my head and it's still alive." I am the 'youngest' of twins and we had two older sisters, that from the first family. Then it starts to get complicated because both parents remarried and had other children. So how does that figure in the birth order? I imagine it only figures in the family you grew up with, so then I'm not the youngest since I lived with my father who remarried and had three more children. A little background history on the new guy

Have to agree with everyone else, you must go to the Pike Place Market, fresh seafood, fresh produce, and the flowers are astounding! Favorite Restaurant is the Brooklyn Seafood, Steak and Oyster House on Second Avenue in downtown Seattle, outstanding food and oysters (if you like them). The waterfront is always fun and if it's a nice day it's beautiful! Definitely try to do a jump at Kapowsin, the view is breathtaking! If you want a side trip, there is Mt. St. Helens and the Olympic Pennisula (I think I would pass on viewing the one foot slugs!) for gorgeous scenery. The museum of Flight and the EMP are points of interest. Enjoy your trip and I hope you get some nice weather while you are here. It can be nice in October!
