The amount of time you are in the air depends on what kind of thermals they can get. I was up about 45 min., but he had another tandem to do, so we had to land. Ha, a ski lift would be much nicer! It is cold and they tell you to dress warmly. I did have a flight suit on over all my fleece and a good pair of gloves helps. You should do one, it's awesome. Don't expect any adrenaline rush though, like you get from going out the door! J -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

Amazing isn't it? I'll never forget my dog 'crying' for me as he lay when he collapsed. Letting me know he needed help and as soon as I came, he relaxed. "When he gave you a lick, it would take up your whole face"-------wonderful description, only a true dog lover would understand. It was fun and fun to watch. These pilots really work to find a thermal to get them higher. We even flew over a nudist camp! (no, we didn't/couldn't see anyone. It was a rather crisp cold fall day so I don't think anyone was out there! We did fly with a red tailed hawk though, very cool! We had a beautiful day here yesterday. Since I had received a gift certificate for a tandem Paraglide, I took advantage of a beautiful Fall day. This was a fun experience but in no way does it compare to skydiving. The ride up to the launch site in this old 'service' truck was the scariest part of the whole experience. Yikes! It doesn't in the least annoy me that I can't hear the whole conversation. It's usually when they are holding up a line and they are talking so loudly it's annoying. Some, usually aren't paying attention to what they are doing, so therefore it slows everything down. Or driving the car and not paying attention is more annoying. I guess maybe I should have clarified my statement a little more

1. Going into a room and forgetting why you went in there. 2. Losing your train of thought in a middle of a sentence. _________________________________________ Two of my great annoyances! Another one is, putting something somewhere, thinking it's such a good easy place so that you won't forget where you put it, then spending hours looking for the object. Arrogant people annoy the shit out of me. Slow walking shoppers! How do they ever get any shopping done walking at a snails pace???? Cell phone use in public places!
