    Why is that? Because the Irish government is the pussy whipped sock-puppet of the Vatican? in fairness i dont think it is anymore at the time the deal was done they expected damages to be in the range of 300-500million so the 128 million the church would pay was around a third now the damages could be up to 1.5billion this makes the churches portion unacceptable i was just listening to a solicitor on the radio and they reckon there is legal grounds for renegotiation but it will be up to the attorney general to decide that but hopefully it is renogotiated with a much more aggressive stance form the goverment

    ye our goverment basically did a deal granting indemnity to the church as long as they agreed to pay 10% of the damages awarded in any lawsuit and the goverment would pay the rest it was a fucking disgrace of a deal but apparently there is no legal way around it now and the only way the christian brothers will have to pay more is if they decide to themselves out of the goodness of their hearts

    thanks good to know i assumed they would do this as a matter of procedure seen as they ask for your torso measurement it seems to be common sense that the rig needs to be in the 'correct' place relative to the customers torso

What else, in modern times (say, since turn of the 20th Century), compares closely? the catholic church just happens to have the presence it could have been any religon with roughly the same rules as the catholic church in charge of the schools and the same thing would have happened there is nothing inherant ONLY in catholicism that makes them turn into paedos

    all the teeth of this report were removed from this (ten year old) probe when the christian brothers successfully sued them to stop the names being released the names should be released and the paedophiles up in court its a joke and if this abuse has happened here you can be sure its happened in every country in the world were religous orders like this were in charge of large amounts of childrens education

    So lemme get this straight... You started a thread to get feedback for an acquaintance who you already informed is making an unwise canopy choice? What was the point? Were you just unsure whether his canopy selection was, indeed, an unwise choice? Low Jump Numbers + High WL = Unwise Choice maybe he thought a page full of posts agreeing with him that it was a bad idea would show the aquaintance that he is not just being a stick in the mud and maybe that would stop the aquaintance seriously hurting himself? sounds reasonable to me

    He had three handguns and 30k rounds of ammo. That's 10k rounds per handgun. If he shoots 200 rounds each weekend, which is very easy to do in just a couple of hours or less, then that's only a one-year supply for each handgun. That doesn't seem suspicious at all to me. That's just a normal amount to keep on hand, so that you don't run out, especially right now when ammo has become scarce. maybe its because i come form a country with far stricter gun laws than yours but a years supply of ammo along with a large amount of cash sounds suspicious to me BUT as i said i hope this dosnt fuck everything else up for him if it is a mistake

    if you want to pm me i can try and maybe put you in touch with some of the fun jumpers there so you can sort something out before you get there if you like belly then im pretty sure dr pete has no problem letting the visiting jumpers join the group but iv never jumped in his group personally so i cant say for sure

    this is what the instructors thought had happened when it happened last summer aswell it looked like it had been worn down and had broken just outside the handle but when the rigger saw it he explained how he had cut the cable inside and that is why it looks like that but in fact it must have been the swage not being tight enough

    im from ireland and started my jumping here the biggest dz in the republic is the irish parachute club and that is probably the website you found http://www.skydive.ie/ the other dz in the republic is called skydive ireland http://www.skydiveireland.ie/ they are a far newer dropzone but its were i started jumping and i like it everyone is really friendly and imsure they would love to get some travelling jumpers up there, it is about 2 hours from dublin. iv never jumped at the ipc and im not sure how far from dublin it is it could be around the same. i dont think either of these dzs are open full time but open friday saturday sunday, the ipc might be open thursdays too the other dz in ireland is in northern ireland called the wild geese iv never jumped there but if you google it you should get their website

    if you are going at all you should stay at least one night you wont get the proper sne experience without partying at least once with us

    i read it perfectly thank you and its not hard, as you seem to imagine it is, to read between the lines either way you have alot to be educated on yourself as regards the religon you profess to have 'found' as it seems to have completely left out forgiveness being good and retribution being bad finally all the scientific evidence suggests that jesus does not give cancer other than that though good troll it will probably go on for quite some pages

    pretty sure that pride is a deadly sin jesus dosnt give anyone cancer anymore than you wishing your 'enemy' had cancer gives it to him. what this post proves however is that you are just a malicious as your enemy that is unless your a troll which is highly likely

    i worked there last summer and am going back to pack in a few weeks you will have blast dr pete organises most weekends so im sure he will be there memorial day weekend organising some bigger ways there was a staple of about 40 regular fun jumpers every week there and then quite a few visiting jumpers for the boogies alot of freeflying as you said i imagine fred one of the dzo's will be having a pig roast that weekend and they are unreal and everyone from the fun jumpers to the staff more than know how to wind down after a long days jumping cant wait to get back there pm me if you want some videos of the place

    ok im not an instructor and iv only been jumping a year so bear that in mind while reading i saw this happen last summer on a vector tandem if i remember correctly they asserted that the cause was the rigger making his own handles but doing something wrong with the little metal thing that holds the yellow cable inside the orange handle he was also cutting the hoop of the cable that was on the inside of the orange handle but i cant remember if that was said to be a cause like you the instructor went for the handle but it came of in his hand leaving the cable in place and he went for the other handle which worked fine

    if i knew someone had arranged a way to hurt my family and i had tried every other means to find out how i would have no problem torturing them for the information if it raised the chances of my family not being hurt or killed your goverment is just doing it to protect more than one family having said that having it as a standard interrogation technique is not acceptable either it has to be a last resort and strictly controlled but ruling it out completely is foolish imo

    i have no idea about putting it on your back on the way to the dz BUT i cant remember the comany but one of the rig/suit manufactures does covers for your rig so you can fly it in the tunnel im sure they would work just as well in keeping everything safe while riding your bike

    dont think this is great iv heard it really mess's with their hormones and stuff and repeated use cannot be healthy talking to someone(maybe not a doctor but someone) before each use cant be a bad thing can it?
