I haven't read anyone's else's response yet, but here goes mine: My current boy-toy of 4 years is my one and only sexual partner. However, I started pleasing myself at age 8!!! I've always been very sexually-driven, but also had beliefs that two people should love and/or care for one another to share that. For me, I think that helped a LOT (helping myself) b/c I got to know what I liked and didn't like VERY well, and also what fantasies in my head worked best, etc. I have never had a problem with obtaining the big O with my hunny, several times or more, in fact. Believe it or not, 75% of women have trouble obtaining the big O through normal intercourse (50% of that 75%, though, CAN obtain so through their *own* means or oral). How I explain being in that *lucky* 25% is that I am VERY comfortable with myself & my partner. We can tell each other what we like and what we don't, and now that's it's been 4 years, we pretty much know, but STILL keep it versatile, and not the same every time; different positions, different times, different places in the house. I think that's important, too. You shouldn't have to "plan" that, though, just go with what you're in the mood for. So, just to wrap up, my guidelines for a very satisfying and healthy sex life are as follows: 1. Know yourself, and please yourself as often as you want. 2. Be comfortable with your partner and not afraid to direct him/her, or have him/her direct you. I feel this is best done through loving/caring relationships b/c the partners genuinely want to please one another. 3. Think about nothing else but obtaining the big O and what feels good and go with that. Ladies, I mean, don't be worried about if your tummy roles, or how you look b/c that is statistically the BIGGEST reason why women have a hard time, b/c they're too focused on how their bodies look to the men during intercourse and getting in the most "forgiving" position. Trust me, your body looks GREAT to a guy as long as you're ooo'ing and ahh'ing, ladies. No matter what size, shape, etc. That's my two cents Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

The last "recorded" of the tribe in Vanuatu practicing it was 1980!!! That's not long ago!!! And that's just what's been recorded. I'm willing to be there are still tribe's members alive that took part 24 years ago. Yuck! But, it's just part of their culture and one must accept that (not necessarily understand, but accept nonetheless). Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Holy cow! I watched last night and for the first time in Survivor history, I DO NOT think I could have been on this one...I mean, the women put second to the men, and then the whole pig display and the thought of them eating me if I offended them? I respect different cultures and so can perfectly understand the pig ritual, the women second, even the cannibalism. It would be a nice place to VISIT for a couple days....NOT stay for 32 days with the chief running the show. Speaking of Vanuatu, if anyone watching the National Geographic Channel, there is a show I love called "Taboo" and the Vanuatu tribes were featured on an episode (I saw this before Survivor announced the new season was in Vanuatu) doing their "land diving". The ironic part was that according to the show, only one (or two) people have died from it in their entire history, yet how many people have died in freak accidents bungee-jumping and that should be way safer. I know more people probably bungee jump, which would make a greater chance of the # of people who die in a freak accident, but there's a lot of those tribes people and they do that every year for two months, so I just though that was an interesting fact. I have a similiar philosophy. When people ask, "Why do you leave the last couple sips in every drink?" and I say, "b/c it's warm, it's backwash and I can afford another" Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Wow, I thought I'd be alone on this one, but surprisingly, I'm in the majority. No rugrats for me, thanks. I love kids and volunteer for them, etc. etc. but I like to give them back when they start crying or screaming whichever comes first. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I'm going to try to give up meat....need advice
PLFXpert replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
non-farm raised fish is a little different b/c at least they live a normal life until they're captured and once they are, the death is fairly instant--they're not kept alive and mis-treated until they get to the butcher. I do NOT buy farm-raised fish. And, I DO have issues w/ fishing nets, but for the most part, salmon doesn't factor in to that b/c of where the majority are caught is not where sea turtles or seals, etc. are. Ha! I've got that down now. But when I was in my regular PLF days, it wasn't about NOT flairing, it was about flairing at the WRONG time all the time. I blamed my bad eyesight, but we all know I just sucked at landing I DO think it had something to do w/ the fact that I can not see sh!t and haven't been to the eye doctor since I was 10. Ha! Look out below! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I hear you on this, conundrum. I am veggie-tarian for the most part (I eat salmon) but only b/c of the inhumane treatment of all farm-raised animals. If we did it "the animal way" or just instilled some SEVERE new laws regarding humane treatment of farm animals, then I would not have a problem with it. There's a difference between animal WELFARE and animal RIGHTS. I am an animal WELFARE activist. I think it was Switzerland, or one of the countries near it, that has instilled the BEST animal welfare laws in the world. I read about it in my "animal times" from PETA. I wish we could follow their great example. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

Exactly. I have very strong opinions on just about everything, but I feel that just as strongly as I feel one way, someone might feel another, so who I am to judge them? But, regarding the meat-thing...by default, my poor boy-toy has become more veggie-tarian, too, b/c I AM the one who does the grocery shopping and I refuse to by anything but fish, or any products tested on animals (which pretty much leaves out ANY household product at the grocery store, so I have to shop elsewhere for shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.). He doesn't mind all that much, though. He's lost weight, feels better and still gets his steak at Outback when we go Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -
It's all interesting. Start-to-finish! They say old married couples tend to have depleting sex drives. I call BS on that...my boy-toy and I have been together 4 years and it just gets BETTER AND BETTER Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I put my clothes back on and go back to whatever I was doing before. It's been proven that sex is one of the best stress-relievers. I am ALWAYS stressed, so my boy-toy is always happy to help alleviate that for me Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Tip a cabbie? No way, they charge enough as it is Tip a server? Absolutely, 20% for OK service, 25%+ for good service. We go to the same places so if you tip well, they remember and usually give even better service or extras. At our favorite Japanese steakhouse where the cook at the table, my boy-toy always orders the chicken and our cook, who remembers us, ALWAYS gives him steak instead, no extra charge Hairdresser? Yea, I do, but I really don't think it's necessary. I go to the Hair Cuttery for a trim, so no frills there, but I still tip $2 for my $10 hair cut. If anything, just hoping she'll use it to fix her own hair. Ever notice how hairdresser's own hair looks like sh!t? A delivery person? Again, yes, b/c it's like a server, but never more than 15-20%. As a sidenote, you should always factor in tips when planning a vacation. It can really add up. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

This is so true; it captured the two very different sides to my personality: Planner--Facts--Heart--Extrovert=Provider This part is SO true right now. I AM under extreme stress and that's exactly what I do, I cut myself off from contact w/ friends, family and beat myself up over things. The funny thing is I know I'm doing it, but can't seem to stop. Hopefully after this week, the stress will lighten up some. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You can read my above post on what I eat, but as a former vegan, and now pretty much still vegetarian, I still think boca burgers and the garden burger are NASTY. Turkey burgers are edible, but maybe you guys just make them differently. I have had a lot of veggie burgers that taste great from a restaurant, but I have yet to taste any tofu, boca or garden anything that doesn't taste like @ss Ha! Eat lots of nuts (sorry boys, I mean the kind that comes in a can at the grocery store) I must eat 1/2 pound of nuts a day. Peanuts and almonds are best for you. I usually eat a mix of peanuts, cashews, almonds, pecans, a couple other nuts that I don't know the names of (ha!) and raisens. Raisens are a really good anti-oxident. Eat lots of nuts in combination with natural fruits and vegetables, whole grains and soy milk if you want cereal, or whatever. It's actually pretty good. I eat all of the above, plus lots of fish, mostly salmon. When I go out though, or to a friends for dinner, I will have steak or chicken, but I NEVER buy it. So, are you looking to go vegetarian or vegan. If just vegetarian, then really there are tons of choices. Go to the bookstore and get a couple vegetarian cookbooks to help you get started. Well, I usually say I REALLY have to pee to get out of the ticket in the first place. To a judge...not sure...if the cop doesn't show, I think it's automatically dismissed. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Florida has the best free-public information ever. The answer is online. I don't know the cites off the top of my head, but if you go to the bookstore, just look in "Find it Online" and it will list some good cites to read regarding that. Having said that, I THINK the following: YOu can be charged rent, but they are supposed to either pror-ate the 10 days, or deduct it from your deposit. As far as the deposit goes, I'm not sure. I've been given back 1/2 my deposit before for ridiculous things. I believe, however, you can get your own quotes, or rent your own steam-vac for $15/day and clean-up yourself to get your full deposit back. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I have two 1/2 cats. Two cats are legitimately mine and my boy-toy's, both of which we rescued really young b/c they were abandoned by their "biological" mommy. My boy-toy had Zoe' before we met. Then, we got Sabre (named him after my parachute, and it is fitting for acat), at 1 week old and he wasn't supposed to survice, but I took off work, moved in with my boy-toy and fed my little Sabre from a syringe every two hours and bathed him in the sink. He is my best little buddy, now. I've attached two pictures of him. He wears a sterling silver closing pin on his collar. Ironically, that's how we found out that skydivers live across the street from us. The knew what the pin was. The 1/2 cat is shared between us and a neighbor. He was abandoned and dropped on our street, I guess. The sweetest cat in the whole world, and he stays outside, so between us and the neighbor's, he'S very SPOILED. They call him "Orion" and we call him "Swoop". Anywho, that's the short version of my kitty stories...ha ha ha We'll be getting another cat and a puppy for Christmas, we decided. I think it's mostly other guys labeling the nice guys gay. If you ask me, they're jealous. Nice guys don't finish last, they just end up last b/c the girl actually STAYS with him. There is a really nice, smart, funny guy who is a friend of ours...I heard some guys joking around (behind his back) that he was gay. I don't normally advertise, but basically I defended the guy, citing the first time I met him, he hit on me like I was baseball and he wanted a home run. Girls have MUCH better gay-dar than men. He's not gay, just really nice. And for the record, I don't think there's anything wrong with being gay or being labeled that way anyways Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Thank you! In the review of the tapes, the Korean made two other technical errors that, had the judges seen, would have counted AGAINST him, but did not b/c they did not see it. So, either way, Hamm won. If the judge had not made an error, the Korean would have won and it would be fair and square. The judge made a mistake and thought he saw something he didn't, but in review of the tape, there were two mistakes NONE of the judges caught. That is why the judging is SUBJECTIVE. That is why they do not review tapes in gymnastics. Hamm won fair and square based on the rules and he played by the rules. There is no reason, in my mind, he should give up his medal, especially when the Korean made mistakes that, had they been counted, would have cost him the gold anyways. To each their own as far as opinions go. I feel terrible for a fantastic athlete such as Hamm to be put in this situation when he has done nothing wrong, yet people are boo'ing him and judges are scorning him...people just enjoy placing blame on everyone but themselves. The Korean should blame himself (for making those two errors the judges didn't catch) and the judges should blame themselves (for instead taking off points they THOUGHT they saw) and NO-ONE should be blaming Hamm for anything....IN MY OPINION Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
