What album can you listen to without ever getting tired of?
PLFXpert replied to Orange1's topic in The Bonfire
I enjoy them, but I do get tired of hearing a lot of their songs. Apparently I'm Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

SUBLIME, self-titled 40 oz to Freedom always brings me back Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -
More women should. Afterall, they make my favorite fabric....SILK Their webs are truly magnificant creations. Chiquita's web withstood hurricane-force winds. I was worried about her, but I don't generally disturb nature. During the storm, I looked for her and did not see her, but I saw a cocoon-like spot. I think she had wrapped herself up in it for protection. When the storm had passed, there she was again Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I have They do this for a variety of fund-raisers. I did mine as a member of the beaches sea turtle committee.

Holy cow... I'm scared to say...it's probably OK Yes, there are brown recluse spiders in Florida. I spent many summers at camp for 2-4 weeks at a time and hence learned about many different bites. Ha! The bugs always seem to want my sweet sugar. But, as everyone else has said, it's important to have it looked at ASAP. It's funny, I love spiders and I don't kill anything as a rule (except evil cockroaches). If there is a spider in the house, however, my hunny always screams "It's a recluse!" and goes for the shoe. He's not afraid of bugs, either, but it's all I can do to convince him to capture it, instead, and put it outside. We have a lot of lizards and frogs outside and I have never sprayed for bugs (except your typical termite bond) b/c it's bad for the environment and my animals. The lizards, frogs & spiders must do a great job of keeping them under control b/c I NEVER see a bug in the house or have bug damage on my outside flowers. We used ot have this HUGE banana spider I named Chiquita who formed a gigantic web in one of our trees up high. It was beautiful and she was gorgeous. I have a great picture I shot when the sun was glistening just right on the dew of her web and she was exactly centered in her creation. Spiders are great to have around b/c they eat flies and bugs you do NOT want around. And that's my story... Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I watched a documentary on the all things you might not realize the military spends money on. It was really interesting. I also read it in some news article about different research in general. I think it's really interesting stuff

Did ya'll know the military spends millions a year researching telekineses (moving objects with the mind)? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

One of my favorite trips ever was to Alaska. I did a humback whale-watching tour. They stick you in this tiny...canoe if you will, b/c that's how flippin small it was. It was really cold, wet & dreary, but SO BEAUTIFUL at the same time. These humongous whales would flip their tails, raise their blow holes out of the water and all sorts of things w/in just feet of us. It's AMAZING that it doesn't ruffle the waters as much as you'd think it would. I seriously considered becoming a whale-watching tour guide after that! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

If you found a dead gnat in the mixed drink you just made yourself...
PLFXpert replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
I was thinking that, too I mean, it's just a gnat Now, if it were a cockroach, I probably would have dropped the glass screaching, ran to put on my boots (so the evil creature could not scurry away over my foot), grabbed a bowl and put it over top of the big nasty as quick as possible. Then, called my hunny to take care of the bowl Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -
I just talked to Lee (skinnyshrek) on the phone....neener, neener, neeeener For the record, he has a very sexy accent! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Chris, you made my day!

Well, do you believe? From small things to big, what do you think? Do you have an example/personal story? I'll start... I definitely believe in mind over matter. I'm no expert by any means but for example: When I got my first tattoo, I focused so intently on the artist's non-inking hand that was steadied on the upper part of my back (the tattoo is on the ever-popular lower middle back) that I could actually feel his blood running through his palm, wrist & fingers. I did not feel the needle whatsoever

Believe me, I understand the need for hobbies. I have a MILLION of them. Some people wonder how the hell I garden, take care of orchids, take care of all my pets & play with them, run, scuba, skydive, paint, do all the housechores and still have time for reviewing my fashion magazines, reading, dinner w/ my hunny, watching American Idol and 8 hours sleep! I move at the speed of light and am so flippin orgazined & effecient about my day that I multi-task like nobody's business. You HAVE to make time for the fun things and other things you enjoy to maintain sanity Aerial silks sounds cool Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
