Same state, new city. I've traveled to 42 states and enjoyed each one. They all have their pros and cons. But, I'm a Florida girl. I LOVE it here. I would most definitely consider a summer home somewhere else and a winter home here when I'm old and full of hot flashes. In that case, my summer home would most definitely have to be in NC.

Please see yourself to the nearest Animal Care & Control Center, pronto. Thank you.

Hypothetically speaking, I would never choose kitty over Billy... Still speaking hypothetically, however, it's entirely possible if I gave up kitty for Billy I'd later subconsciously resent Billy. That partnered with my depression brought on by lack of furry friends in my life would be an ugly situation indeed; probably leading to the end of our relationship. All I can say is: Thank goodness Billy loves animals, too. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

The fallacy in this argument is obviously science vs. religion. Science would argue there is no such interference b/c until a certain point there is no such "person". Religion would argue if that in question has the potential/probability to be such then it is equally important. I also believe in God and thus we both have a common religious belief. The difference is how we interpret what His will is. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Perhaps you could add a sleeping pill to the regime. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Being that I love animals so...I have a daily routine that takes me a full 30 minutes. I vacuum the entire house (which is mostly tile except the bedrooms), lint roller the furniture and spray anti-dander/bacterial spray daily. We have the top-of-the-line air filter and I change it twice as often as is recommended. I also take a daily allergy pill. My arms even breakout in little red dots sometimes while I'm rolling around the floor with my dog playing. They itch like hell. But it's temporary and goes away as soon as I wash my arms. I still have two kitties and a doggie and I play with them, love them, squeeze them & kiss them bunches daily. For me, I would suffer far greater w/out them.

Don't get me wrong, I greatly understand and appreciate different perspectives. And not saying this is true for you but I happen to believe a lot of health issues are really mental. Using your example: It's like Pavlov's dog salivating at a bell, even w/out food. I certainly don't want anyone to have a pet who doesn't want one or feels the need to cringe. In fact, I fully support your decision b/c too often for one reason or another someone who doesn't care for animals ends up with one (via a spouse, the spouse leaves, etc.) and the animal is left neglected. I'd much rather the animal be taken to animal care & control in such situations. Still, it can be hard for non-animal people to understand the love animal-people have for their pets. It truly is like having a child. I don't have enough facts to argue, but in some cases when someone says: "I can't believe she'd keep the cat. If she loves you, she wouldn't." I might be inclined to say the same could be said in the opposite way. I.E.: "If he loved her, he'd take a pill and proper precautions." Thus, such a debate is pointless. If one has a personal issue with modern medicine, then that's a whole different debate altogether.

I love Fig Newtons.

Without diving into personal detail... In my case, it's actually quite unselfish in many ways that I do not want children, at least from my perspective.

Wait...It's "You ain't never caught a rabbit..."?

Way to turn a thoughtless thread educational, riddler. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

I disagree... B/c he is declaring said dog is "no friend" of his. It wouldn't bother me if a friend caught a rabbit (so long as said friend released said rabbit unharmed). Certainly I'd be even more pleased if said dog never caught one. A rebel, however, could be trouble and thus might be "no friend" of mine. My version is better, thankyouverymuch. -

It bothers me...but not THAT much. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I never would have thought I was wrong. Ahhhhh, the good old days of being young and innocent... Billy and I still debate whether or not the "L" is silent in "Pepto Bismol". I asked for some once and he said, "You mean 'Mollllll'?" And I said, "Absolutely not! I mean 'Mo'! The 'L' is silent!" OK, I'm getting a little irritated at all the old songs I learned, of course, when I was little and am just now finding out I've been singing the lyrics wrong all these years. I thought it was: You ain't nothing but a rebel and you ain't no friend of mine. Too bad Elvis is dead or I'd tell him myself my version is better. -
That's cute. All I can say is "Puuuullllease, people." Allergy meds at Costco (which I take daily) are a mere $4 for a pack of 400 which lasts me almost two months! Granted, I only take one/day b/c my allergies are minor compared to some. So, we'll say $16 for two months for you severe allergy sufferers. As for the pussy, I hear it helps if they're shaved. Seriously, Billy's brother moved in with a love-el-ly woman who adores her very fluffy kitty. Charlie looked/still looks SOOOOO cute with his new hair cut; nakie except for a fluffy face, fluffy shoes and a fluffy tail tip. The haircut partnered with an allergy pill worked wonders and Billy's brother is perfectly fine.

I know, and I don't necessarily find it funny b/c I agree or disagree. I just like it when people are not so PC and are not easily offended. I'm very open-minded, love thy neighbor no matter what their race, creed or sexual preference. But, I still know that some stereotypes ARE true and very funny to joke about.

Having graduated college just under 4 years ago, I can tell you it was a requirement for my first job which paid me more in my first year than most people in the industry for 20 years. When I left that position and job-searched for another, I can tell you the degree in my back pocket served me very well for the better-paying jobs. My friends near and around my same age (26) would concur. Of course, we are just a small sample of the population, but I think we're pretty representative. I might agree if you specified what type of degree. I think there are only a limited # of professions that benefit from having a masters or further degree than a 4-year. I think I will. I just don't like watching much out of order. I didn't start watching the second season until mid-way through. Then when it came on the reruns I started from the beginning. When I started watching the lawyer ex-wife was already off the show. I didn't like the earlier episodes with her in it. I liked House better w/out a love interest. There's some comedian that did a joke similiar to that. It was funny then, too. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

By the way, Cruzer is an excellent dancer, too. It was my mission... When we first got him he was scared of a lot of things. He came from an abusive home as a puppy. It was both funny and sad, but when you'd have music on and start moving to it, he'd run back to his crate. So, I started giving him treats and stuff and talking to him really sweetly while dancing for him. It worked! Now, he LOVES to dance. He even picks up on signals when I move around him and he does his own little moves. You should see him groove to "Proud Mary". Yesterday, he jumped up on me from behind and I grabbed his paws and held them on my waist and we did the bunny hop. He's quite good Billy finds all this hilarious.

That's cute. I do that, too, with different songs. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
