I didn't go to school to have a career as the end result. I went to learn about ideas I'd never even considered learning about on my own. I had the opportunity to discuss and critique things with people fairly seasoned in each of these fields. Sure, I could possibly have those conversations or learn about all those things without spending thousands of dollars, but I don't feel that it was a waste of money. :7:1 Jumped with one of my favorite L.O.'s doing 6-ways and 7-ways. My last jump Saturday was a 4 pt dive with block moves that we went through twice. I owe beer for my first successful block moves...I've been on several where the pieces fly so far apart that the dive is over by the time everyone gets back to the formation. Ever since I became "mud girl" in AFF and they made me cutaway on the ground to clean the rig, I've had nightmares about any RR. I couldn't pull the handle on the ground, so the pressure in the air might be pretty intense. I have since practiced in the hanging harness with my own gear, but that thought crosses my mind every now and then that I might not have the strength to pull my handles under a spinning main. I know I should have chopped my tilt-a-whirl canopy on a jump, but I saved it by kicking like hell out of some serious line twists below and above the slider...especially when I could HEAR my bf screaming (even with my fullface helmet on) for me to kick under his canopy near me. Based on past experience, I NEVER carry shampoo, hairspray, etc in the same bag with my clothes. I've had the privilege of opening my suitcases finding my clothes coated in slime from exploding bottles and whatnot. ~Nikki http://www.facebook.com/poe62 Irgity Dirgity

My company put us on teams and is forcing us to play games like chair rowing and rubber band archery. I have never been one to play games like this...I'm not five years old. This sort of thing makes me feel dumb. Then I went to look at the team I was on for it. At the top, next to the Captain space, MY NAME! WHAT THE HECK?! I've been designated as the person who makes up the country and a flag...along with other responsibilities that will take away from my REAL WORK. Who wants to fill in for me for the next two weeks while we're forced into team building fun? It's so true! I'm a small girl, and I get wedged between some really big guys. You can lean on me whenever you want, but if I really can't breathe ...and it happens a lot...please give me a bit of space.
