Oh I'm right where I belong Joker, in the rear with the gear!
-
Riding since I was 8 yo. Mostly dirt, now, mostly dirt and slab to the dirt. Current ride is a KTM RXC 400, tractorlike power, rock hard seat (see photo), 4 gals of gas so it will go farther than I want to, WP suspension, Brembo brakes, only complaint is the vibration, at certain rpms it will give you double vision!

From Beechcraft Duke B60 Can Jump???
airgord replied to maxus's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I worked for a Beechcraft dealer for ten years, the Duke is a maintenance hog and parts are tough to get now, so, there's a reason that Beech doesn't build them anymore. -
What comes with what when purchasing seperately?
airgord replied to eightate8at8's topic in Gear and Rigging
Sometimes too much information is as bad as no information. -
It's the same as on your Voodoo's DSE.

Where can you buy a "Blink Box"!
-
I think most of the manufacturers offer a Military discount, just may not advertize it. Call your favorite and ask them.

Why are rigs so damn expensive?
airgord replied to Tomcat933's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I blame the outrageous salaries paid to the employees. I'll remember this........ -
Were these "premies" reported to the manufacturer?

Every rig is hand built. Not much automation. -
Custon hand-lettering on helmets?
airgord replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Ask the local Harley/chopper shop, those people do lots of lettering on helmets and bikes. Custom paint shops too (automotive). -
Measure the circumference of your cranium and email the manufacturer of the helmet you are interested in, they will help you with sizing so when you order from a dealer it wont be a total shot in the dark. Also the manufacturers website will probably have a sizing chart already/ .

What do you base your opinion on concerning the Voodoo?

What happened to Freeflying at Perris?
airgord replied to surfbum5412's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
All of the freefly principals at Perris went to work for Redbull (better paycheck). -
ATGATT! All the gear, all the time! Good Job Nataly! Keep at it, it's not always a catastrophe when you ride! Just for reference, google "road rash queen".

"Wrong crowd". You said it! 5 months I just heard, she's gonna be HUUGE! xoxo EB!

And nice people too! Except for the coach guy who kept stealing my bike and I had to land, drop rig at the packer and run down to the hangar to dub, BC got me in trouble because he forced me to steal someone else's bike (sorry john smith)! It's a slippery slope.

Could someone with info PM me please? Thank you.

They are open late, unless there is no business. They love groups!

Hi Oliver. The winsuit mod will work fine for freeflying, like the post above this one, send a pm to DSE. He has two Voodoo with the wingsuit mods from the factory.

Can any riggers identify this Talon container please?
airgord replied to humanflite's topic in Gear and Rigging
What Riggerrob said. If you want to know more send us an email. info@rigginginnovations.com. Give the serial number and we can even tell you who it was orignally built for. The hard housing mod is a cinch for any rigger to do and my personal opinion is to get that done just to keep other jumpers from freaking out about the "evil soft housings". Let us know if we can help you on the purchase.
