America has already been having to deal with it since women have been acting on the front line in support roles for 2 wars now. It wasn't reported immediately. Wow! You jumped right to it. Generally, dragging you to safety isn't much of an issue. And with all the gear we wear today, it's hard for anyone to do. However, America will have to prepare itself. Two women were captured in Shield / Storm. It was covered up for years, but guess what happened to both? Males are going to get manipulated. It happens in the military all of the time. Romantic relationships are going to come into play. Males will die for a female faster than for another male (minimal, but there). All of these will work themselves out over time. There is no ongoing burden of proof. You just wouldn't be covered when you got lung cancer from smoking after claiming you don't smoke..... They aren't coming around doing lung tests. If you want to add drinking to the list go for it. People who claimed they didn't drink wouldn't have their liver transplants covered when they drink it to death....that's all it means. Actually, it would be quite easy. Add a small hair sample to a physical and you can say whether the person smokes, drinks, is a heavy coffee drinker...most anything. I would have to think about the constitutional issue, but it's hardly 'unfair' (hate any use of the word fair). In fact, it was predictable. I predicted it in posts before Obamacare was passed. I was hardly alone or the first to think of it. The French floated a measure to tax fat people years ago to prop up socialized medicine. It just makes sense. If you give the government responsibility for your health, you give them authority. They can tell you what you can or can not eat, drink, smoke, etc. They can require you to take an annual physical complete with drug test similar to annual tax returns. They can require you to participate in approved physical fitness programs. Seriously...if I had to pay for your health insurance, I would have something to say about your health habits. Honestly, I don't understand the whole concept of marriage anymore. Why anyone would fight for or against it is beyond me. Why governments put stock in an institution that has long since stopped meaning anything makes no sense. On here, people are getting all emotional and even attack people who agree with them. i haven't been tracking the military thing, but I'm pretty sure all of that is going to have to get cleared up really quickly now that openly gay people are ok in the services.
