    Congratulations! I was reading your post and nearly spilled my beer - nine reserve rides? Holy moses... and then laughed at the "only 7500" jumps. But, in all seriousness, you sound like you're still having fun and that, at the end of the day, is all that matters! Good for you!

    Thanks everybody, I appreciate it. Does anybody know if there's a particular reason why they don't offer this option (as they're market leader, in their field, it would seem reasonable that they would?) - maybe articulation is weaker or something - I was thinking it would be better for flexibility (and therefore comfort)??...

    Weed is safer health-wise (if used correctly). Otherwise, alcohol all the way Hmm, is weed safer? I'm not arguing with you, I just thought it was worse because of the smoking/chemical intake? I might be wrong but I read some statistic somewhere that said one joint was like ten cigarettes? - Again, I have nothing to back this up other than heresay...

    Well, to be honest, I guess there's probably more people out there that enjoy weed (or whatever) but probably won't want to admit it on an open forum - although I believe alcohol causes way more problems than a cheeky line ever did - look at domestic violence, usually alcohol induced rather than weed induced - I think most of us can see that? (yes - some of you will argue simply because this is dropzone.com), but I bet it's closer than we think - it's a good poll... if people are honest about it. Just to add - I fancied being a cop once so I lived my life as if I already was one - never gonna happen now, but it was a good way to be...

    For me alcohol, purely because it's legal - as weeds not, I also box (although I'm really bad at it - I use it mainly as a weight loss exercise - lost 60lbs don't cha know!) so smoking would TOTALLY kill that...

    Just a quick post to see if anybody can give me the email address for UPT customer service? - Yes I've tried their website but, for whatever reason, my computer won't bring up email address's when I click on the link. Just to add- The question I want to ask them is this - do they do articulated chest strap as an option? Maybe somebody out there already knows this...

    -for people who want to exchange unwanted goods with others without having to exchange cash. Obviously skydiving related items with perhaps maybe a "wanted" section, "offered" section, or something similar. Could even be trades for anything in exchange for something skydiving related, doesn't have to be rigid...

    You know that's actually a good idea - Although I've seen something way better than the gopro now - the new drift, it's freakin tiny, in fact it's small enough to put in my pocket when I go out anywhere!

    So true. I'm on my "winter break" now. Can't wait for spring! Same here...winter really sucks...! I left the sport in 87...life simply got in the way...but the brain was always sort of connected to it still. A couple of years ago I started to get those very real dreams, I could hear the engine sound, smell the jet fuel, saw myself in the middle of the crowd entering the plane, then woke up and was mentally destroyed. Last May I decided I had to do it again...and now I am happy. Will carry on doing it as long as health and money allow it! Blue skies Uwe I can certainly relate to your post, I have the same feelings too. It makes things easier to think that I'm just on a skydiving "break" for now but knowing I have decided that I will jump again one day. In the meantime I entertain myself with skydiving related dvd's etc so I at least feel some connection.

    I would lurve to look at Bananaarma but I don't have a computer of my own (I'm using hers, the wifes) and if she see's that I've been looking at that stuff she'll kill me (she's sat opposite me now, wondering what I'm typing to).
