    Holy shit, Skootz - that puts a whole new perspective on it. Now, back to MSNBC, but will watch with my eyes shut See Doc.....it's all about perspective. But don't go watch MSNBC....just pop in some porn.

    Doc....i'm highly disappointed. If you close your eyes the sounds of curling are just like sex. Faster.....harder......YES!!!!!! NO!!!!!!! Along with miscellaneous grunts and groans. It's soft porn Olympic style.

    Unfortunately for the female dead bodies....the males dead bodies have the same problem many of you alive males have.......cumming too quickly......which leaves plenty of time to go around harassing alive people who try to swim in lakes.

    I had totally forgotten about those. Just a light layer of silt and you won't see them even if wading in shallow water. Oh HELL NO!!! Not a chance of me getting into a lake that actually has a layer of sediment.......the dead people breed down there. Argh!!!! Baby skeletons!

    Sorry. Been involved with a few recoveries. Not uncommon for the divers to find the body by touch only. The only variable is do the divers touch the dead or do the dead touch the divers? DANG IT!!!! Yuck yuck yuck........argh.....I really wish I didn't read that.

    Underwater dead people can be terribly pale. Are you sure that you can see them? The splotches blend well with the stones on the bottom too. As long as they move slow, could probably get right up on you before you notice. Nope....you can TOTALLY see them! Now no more crazy talk....you are spooking me out! Amazon.........there is no way that I could actually swim in the lake. I'd love to see all the fish and craw dads.....but you know that they eat the rotting flesh off the dead people.

    That doesn't mean they aren't there. Pops!!!! Stop it!!!! I love MacGregor lake......I can even wade out to the tops of my knees there....its so crystal clear that you can see the dead people coming for you. (Yes...that is really my reasoning) Don't go ruining that!!!!

    Nope to both of the questions......I really don't know what movie caused the fear. The last Harry Potter movie had a totally freaky dead people in a lake scene.

    There's a reason your parents didn't want you to watch those horror films as a kid. I swear it's all my dad's fault! He would make me watch the cheesy horror movies. At one point in time I loved them.......but now I can't stand the dark and panic like a freak in lakes. A couple summers ago a friend pushed me off the end of a dock, not understanding how horrible my fear was. Yep, I looked like a fool.....started to panic, completely forgot how to swim, another friend ended up jumping in to help me to shore. Gia.....the sharks in the ocean eat all the dead people.

    Before last night....he was going to get me an orchid. My favorite by far. After last night.....it looks like I'll be getting a tranny for V-day. Hehehheee....I had to say it like that. The transmission went out in the truck on our way home for hauling the rest of my stuff up to Spokane.

    I'm pretty sure swoop ponds would fall into the scary lakes category. My dz doesn't have one.....and sadly my swooping skills have yet to develop. :) So I have no worries just yet.

    Mine......I am completely scared of swimming in a lake.....(wait for it...)......because of the dead people. Yep....I can't swim in lakes because the dead people, which there are LOADS of them. They will reach up and grab my legs. I can swim in rivers and the ocean.....but lakes, I will hyperventilate. Totally and completely irrational.....but I can't get over it.

    Requirements are a strobe light visible for 3 miles (I believe...can't remember the distance off the top of my head). I have one in my gear bag if you want to borrow it. Otherwise we bought ours at REI for like $20.00.

    I'm nervous about how many people will be there. My biggest boogie was Lost Prairie's 40th year. Totally getting nervous about a new dz and loads of people. ETA: But I'm super excited to meet lots of new people!
