You can zoom the camera in past the vignette but that ruins the purpose of getting a lens that wide... Your best bet is to get an expensive lens if you are going with a super wide fisheye (.3 .25 or wider) I think you will get everything you want from the .45 you ordered... -Chris Martin

I don't think i would order a .25 from ebay... it will prob. have very bad vignette -Chris Martin

The Cheap ebay lens is fine on an Hc40 if it's a .43 or .45 it will be wide enough for someone with 175 jumps.. as you get wider angle on the lens you have to be much much closer to your target to get a good shot. just go for it, jump the shit out of it and once you are ready you can drop the cash on an expensive lens -Chris Martin

He really has a point too... Skyride will continue to sell the certificates no matter how many places accept them... People won't get screwed if they have a place to use their vouchers. Skyride is just big business like every other industry in life... we just hate to see it happen to skydiving but it is so deal with it. In the end people buy skydives, they get to jump, and they enjoy it... As long as they have a place to jump it helps our sport... so either stop whining and accept the gift certificates so they have a place to jump, or start ADVERTISING so they know about you!! If business passes you buy to go to a skyride affiliate it is YOUR fault that they didn't know about you because apparently you weren't advertising like you should, remember who it was that they called. No matter what side you take or how you feel about it, whining about it on DZ.com isn't helping anyone... it just shows that you nothing better to do, so while all the staff at the skyride DZ's are making money and making tandem students happy you guys can sit here and whine... -Chris Martin

a FTP or FTN is a lot of helmet so before you get one you should try on someone else's and make sure it's what you want, this goes for all helmets. if you want to use your helmet and side mount a cam i would go on Ebay and look for a PC model sony (PC 105, 109, 1000 or something like that) They are not HD but the 1000 is 3 ccd and has great quality. The 105 is tried and true and the 109 is small and also has good quality (although not as good as the 1000)All of these cameras have lanc ports for your cameye I have an Nvertigo X with a sony pc-109 on the side and a rebel xt with a sigma 10mm lens on top and i am very happy with it. -Chris Martin

I've been shooting autofocus on my sigma 10- 20 so far and i have mixed emotions about it... missed exit shots and out of focus on some of the best pics (like a bad ass opening shot ) i haven't tried manual focus yet.. not really sure where to begin so that i don't ruin all the shots of the tandem... somewhere between 3 and infinity i guess -Chris Martin

I know you guys have been over this but i couldn't find a clear cut answer that applied to me. I have a Canon Rebel XT with a Sigma 10-20 lens and a bite switch Does anyone else use this setup?
