Sorry I meant a day where it changes 1 cent is considered a very volatile day (as today was). But still, over the long run, it will either balance out (assuming that the currency stays stable) or you will lose money because the currency loses value. Not much to do about it.

If you go along with the bible, god isn't just not provable, but also contradicts a bunch of proven scientific theories, which in turn means it can not be true.

I do not think that should ever be a major issue. Exchange rates of currency's (at least the major ones) change very slowly. You can be sure that it will never change 4 cents over a weekend. It is usually a big deal if the change a 0.1 cents in a day happens, so the only way to really make/lose money that way is if you are highly (at least millions of $) invested.

But how do you scientifically explain god? If you can't, chances are it doesn't exist.

'Globalism' will destroy my country as well as yours. Please stick to your values and allow us to stick to ours. Both of us will fare better. I completely disagree. Globalism will improve the live of us all unless someone really screws up badly (nuclear war etc.). The whole anti-globalism propaganda seems to be just people complaining about loosing their jobs. If you loose your job that usually means you are not doing a good job, or you just chose a job field that has no future (as always there are other reasons and I don't want to offend anybody who lost a job for other reasons). In Michigan for example it seems foolish to go into the automotiv industrie but tons of people still do it and people who are already in it just complain about losing their job instead of getting retrained for another job. The US has no longer a comparative advantage in any way building normal cars, so they should not be doing it. It is just short sighted to say that globalism is bad. If you have ever had basic economics, you should know that if everybody produces the good they have a comparative advantage in and trades, everybody is better off. The thing is that if you stick to some of your values, you are going to bring us all in trouble so that doesn't seem to really be an option for everybody else.

Altough I usually try not to mess with US politics because I am from Switzerland and americans should do what they think is right, I also believe that looking at how global the world is today, this is an international issue by now. There is nothing wrong with them being religious, but that means that none of the presidents is actually my opinion so who ever becomes president believes in something that I believe is wrong so it bugs me

Religion bases on faith (accepting things as true altough there is no prove and it can not be proven), while science bases on prove only. I do not see any logic in accepting both, so I say men has to choose to go with just one of them. I chose to go with the one which I can prove. I'd love to see the lectures from the MIT professor.

The only thing which is really bugging me at the moment is that there is no presidential candidate who believes in science a.k.a. is an atheist.

My suggestion: 2 hours before running: The good old chicken and rice (depending if you want to gain muscles more of both so you get a calories surplus) directly before the run: water and a banana directly after the run: some fast carbs (maltodextrin or just a bunch of juice) 2 hours after running: More chicken and rice or some other good combination of protein and long carbs.

As wildfan said everything was there but instructions how to put it together. That's where the problem was.

Thank's for the tip with the glove. I already have one, but I can't use it at the moment. Ground temperature yesterday was -17°C so a thin glove like that would be a bad idea.

Hey I got to jump it today and I love it. I got it mounted to the wristmount and I would say the disadvantage is that I can't use it as wristmount and audible at the same time because I would have to cut it all up. There really should be some instructions to avoid confusion in the manual.

Hey I never meant to bash L&B but I was just disappointed when I opened the package that I was not able to figure out how it worked. Before I posted a thread here (to get info's because at that time I was not sure if I was missing something or if we were just not able to put it together) I e-mailed L&B and they told me that they are on vacation now, so I wanted to get the infos here. I am sure that L&B will help me as soon as they get back. Edited to add: Thank's Dave but I think my criticism was just not appropriately phrased. I should have been more constructive instead of just complaining.

I am sorry I did not mean to talk bad about the Visos. The reason why I ordered it was that it has excellent functions for a very good price and the service L&B has seems also to be really good since they replied to my concerns nearly instantly, despite being on holidays. I really hope I can jump the Viso next weekend and I'm sure it will work great after having somebody help me to mount it.

It wasn't to me nor to any of the at least 5 people who looked at it (3 senior riggers with all more than 3000 jumps). Most probably because we expected something slightly better. I'll jump it next weekend. I hope the altimeter itself is better than the mount.

Hey I have no doubt that L&B will offer great service but I still think I should be able to take it out of the package and just click it together and not having to ask tons of people if I seriously have to tie stuff together.
