  1. It's all just a silly strawman...unless of course you all of a sudden pick and choose what FOX broadcasts you want to believe. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  2. Somebody lied to you, sista... Yep, it's more like 70% now, good thing we have less of them every year. I was thinking more like...well, way less than 10% People just say they believe in God because they're uncomfortable denying the answer of causality within them...but that's about as far as it goes... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  3. It really depends if you want to kill children or adults. Are you looking to do a school or a workplace shooting? I wouldn't mind using your avatar for target practice...left/right fist for precision, pink mohawk for accuracy... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  4. It's called the United States...Way back when wages started leveling off, America tried to compensate by adding women to the work-force, and later by living of home equity, while other countries like Germany invested in education. (Edited to fix attribution of quote) Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  5. There seems to be an "odd" passive/aggressive tension among the women in this thread... It's sad that political correctness in the world today suppresses the right of raw natured women to engage in an all out cat fight... ...and for that, I blame Quade. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

  7. Evidently you have never talked to a cosmologist. Let me assure you, what you think they might say is not what they would say. Ya, they say a lot... A cosmologist, biologist and an astrophysicist walk into a bar... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

  9. What is the "Warren Principle"? Send lawyers, guns and money. wtf do you need a lawyer for, just give me a gun... They make great human shields! Andy's afraid of guns, let alone the KGB...doubt he could practice in Central America anyway... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  10. I share cable hi-speed internet in my personal office with other business partners in separate offices within the same building. I texted one of my partners on my verizon phone stating that this connection just isn't working for me anymore and that I plan on getting my own business connection with better upload speeds... Within 2 weeks the cable company sent me an ad for a business plan with better speed...they never sent me anything prior to this text. Coincidence? 12. Well, that's the King James Version. I'm sure the NASB is much more accurate... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  13. I interpreted it like this: Actually, in all the cases, being a TI is not their main source of employment, so I doubt they would end up in a bread line. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  14. It's the simple things like this that really help me out in my struggles. I really needed to hear this again...thanks, max. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  15. Meh, you haven't missed much. Your post is by far the most interesting...thanks. The popular idea seems to suggest that the universe has a definite beginning where the point of creation produced both space and time. If you were ask some scientists what happened/existed prior to this event, they may become very irritated and even grow a bit uneasy. They may answer back and say, "nothing, so don't ask!" Or your question may be dismissed entirely as nonsense, because to them, it's akin to asking what happens/exists if you were to travel north of the north pole? People are looking for something that resembles causality, and when you ask some scientific minds for the cause, they simply dismiss it by saying causality is only an illusion of human intuition. There are some metaphysical concepts/scientific philosophies/theories based on mathematics that illustrate the possibility of space and physical laws beyond that which we would expect to observe in our own universe. Some have been described as an infinite loaf of sliced bread, while other models seem to resemble some type of multi-belled tuba...however, none of these illustrate the idea of being outside of time. Mathematics has allowed scientists to theoretically go back to the point of creation and "break on through to the other side" where time continues into a realm that might have a completely different set of "physical" laws. Perhaps this could be a spiritual realm, perhaps it could be heaven...I don't know, your guess is as good as mine. ...But this is all just interesting stuff to ponder. My faith is not dependent on the knowledge of any of it. I just wake up, observe creation and something within searches for causality and I find God who has organized it all. I look at my messy house and realize that the chaos isn't going to organize itself itself... Well, I've been looking through some scripture to find a reference where God could be considered as "outside of time," but I'm just not finding it. Any reference of God's relation to time only seems to suggest that His perception of it is different than ours and that it does not affect Him as it does us. It appears the idea of "timelessness" may not be biblical after all, and simply just a remnant of Greek philosophy/paganism that had crept into christian theology... 16. In this country, if one is to persecute the church, then it's probably in their best interest to be subtle and disguise it some manner. In any event, most "persecution" seen here in the U.S is child's play when compared to how pagans and christians have persecuted each other in the past...it's almost laughable. We're fine... 17. Which is certainly evidence that we need God to have a full and meaningful life. Otherwise we would be like the rest of nature. ... Which one? There are thousands to choose from, and they all have the EXACT same amount of evidence of existence.... NONE. All except for the evidence of the One who created existence in the first place...unless of course you're of the camp that believes organized shit just pops out of thin air for absolutely no reason whatsoever... If you're going to try to deny physics, at least learn some physics first. Can Casamir explain why? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  18. There is no logical difference between believing that the universe popped out of thin air, and believing The One popped out of thin air. At some point there was nothing, then there was something. The One is beyond space, time, and the mere limits of science... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  19. Hence your inability to effectively address the issue and then resort to sarcasm... Sarcasm IS an appropriate response to an inappropriate analogy, and it appears to have been very effective. Well there you go...I'm sure you may thinks so. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  20. not as silly as your bank robbery scenario.... Still glad he brought it up? I suppose I should have used a icon for the benefit of the more obtuse readers. I tend to play down to the competition. Dunning and Kruger strike again. Hence your inability to effectively address the issue and then resort to sarcasm... 22. not as silly as your bank robbery scenario.... Still glad he brought it up? I suppose I should have used a icon for the benefit of the more obtuse readers. I tend to play down to the competition. It tends to become comic relief when I hear statements like, "if guns are so good at preventing crime, how come so many get stolen anyway?" 23. So ... does your ALCJ protect the rights of other denominations or religions other than Christians.. ??? I am thinking...... NOT I don't know...You'll have to do your own research, but they do seem to make a distinction between "churches" and "other religious organizations. The point here isn't who the ACLJ protects...The point here is that the ACLJ actually has to exist. In any event, there is always the RLUIPA...so just relax, it's not the end of the world... Funny thing is that people come in here flaming away as if they actually care about pagan beliefs and cough up money for their cause even if they feel those beliefs are just as ridiculous as the christian's... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" As I have said before... if we as a country are going to live up to the ideals of the Founding Fathers.... we had best follow what they put down in writing. Freedom of religion came about as a direct result of what they had been subjected to... and the not so distant history that had brought most of their families here only a couple generations or so before as they were escaping the atrocities of religious persecution in Europe in general and England in particular. Learn from the past, so you do not make the same mistakes in the future. If a group wishes to worship their creator in their own way perhaps we should allow them their own god given rights.. or none of us are free. I think we're doing a fine job at that... As I said, Christians have paved the way with regard to religious freedoms in this country... We have laws to protect us. Suck it up cupcake. 24. Funny, that was pretty much the only part with which I somewhat agreed... Wasn't that sort of his point? Spot on...I thought the same thing. His sermon was very outdated... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
