  1. No, I believe that Catholicism, at least on paper does not represent biblical Christianity. Most Catholics seem to be unaware of the specifics of Catholic doctrine, much like myself before I actually decided to read the book for myself and compare it to the paganism that's been shoved down my throat. This is all beside the point tho... As I said: It's highly unlikely that Christians can use biblical references to condemn the use of contraception...it's just not there. There are references however that could be used to support the idea of sexual pleasure without the intent of reproduction: Proverbs 5:18-19 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love. Song of Solomon 1:2,4,13 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine....Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers... A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 1 Corinthians 7:3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. 2. Hmmmm, good point. I suppose I'd give him a pass on that one, unless of course it was a fawn. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  3. I am not really an open carry advocate.. why go out of your way to antagonize the idiots and scare the poor fuckers who are already afraid of their own shadows.. Right, the idea is that you must conceal your personal lifestyle in order to protect your freedoms that others may find offensive. I went with my younger cousin to his hunter safety course...they spent hours on the importance of limiting your exposure. They taught that you should change out of your camo and into normal clothing when asking other land owners to track our kill on their property. They taught about concealing your kill while in transit. All of this was about not offending people who could threaten our sport. Yet, it amazes me that the same people who teach these classes are the same hunters who feel the need to have competitions and hang their deer right alongside of the road in a parking lot of the grocery store sponsoring the contest. It's almost as bad (stupid) as parading homosexuality....you're just asking for trouble. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  4. There are a lot of places I'd "conceptually" like to visit, but likely never will for whatever reason I'd like to visit Egypt because I've always wanted to see the pyramids, and the sphinx. Sadly, it's a bit crazy over there politically at the moment, so if I ever get to it'll be a while. I'd kinda like to see some of the cool shit in Dubai, but with their legal system being insane and stupid, as well as their modern-day slavery… not gonna even use them as a layover airport. Not worth it. Iran: I'm fascinated, but my passport has an eagle on it and I had a bar mitzvah so it strikes me as… imprudent to visit. I'm told by friends that it shouldn't be an issue, but I'd hate to be on CNN because I'm never allowed to leave. When I was young, I grew up thinking that the rest of the world was living in something that resembled a concentration camp. (at least that was the picture painted in my young mind given all the stories about how America is the land of the free...) Don't believe the hype... Reality...same as with Uganda and Sudan. Once you see it, you have to ask yourself why aren't we in these countries "spreading democracy," then it all becomes clear. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  5. You're right Mark, I'm not right in the head...I grew up in hell, but God has been the only one in my life to give me any sense of clarity...and yes, I've surely fallen in the past couple of years to my shame and have made a lot of nasty posts. But all I did in this instance was ask you a very simple question with regard to a particular post and you go ape-shit on me. In your impetuous ignorance, you tell me to fuck off and then send me a PM telling me to find religion through sucking cock... ...suddenly I realize that I'm not the one with the problem... You see, the only difference in our self righteous hypocrisy is that I recognize it... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  6. That was my immediate thought on the ruling. Christian objections to (insert healthcare benefit here) are fine in their eyes but I bet islamic ones aren't. This is not a Christian objection... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  7. Sorry, I've tried... I've killed so many threads in my day, but this one is beyond me... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  8. That must be the king james version... Here's the 2nd Ebenezer Church of Detroit on 6 mile translation: "No matter how good a brotha got it, stakes finna be made..." and to that, I say Amen! Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  9. No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting. That skit was the funniest thing I had ever seen at the time. "Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been NAILED there." "I just thought he was real quiet." Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

  13. Not necessarily. Sometimes the "release" consists of being confined to a rehabilitation facility, from which there is no practical means of release. You make it sound so easy. And you make it sound so impossible... What doesn't make sense is that in one argument you'll say that harsher penalties for sex offenses don't give offenders an incentive to rehabilitate, and then in another argument you'll talk about how recidivism rates for sexual offenses are relatively low when compared to other crimes... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  14. I guess that's one extreme. I'm not sure what you think the other is. "Treating them harshly" is one way of saying preventing them from getting work or having a fixed address, but I think it's more like preventing them from having any hope of living in society, and therefore preventing them from feeling accountable to society. In other words, I don't think what we do currently is effective at rehabilitating sex offenders. Right, that's why I figured you really didn't believe that giving them a life sentence was the solution. You were just making a point. The other extreme is that there is no incentive to rehabilitate. They're options are extremely limited, but even in the worst cases there's at least hope in the idea that time heals all wounds.(somewhat) If a sex offender is on probation/parole, it's only a matter of time before he satisfies the requirements of that period and is released. He can then move on and try to start a new life elsewhere...not all jobs do background checks and some companies only go back 7 years. There is also the option of self employment. 15. The part about giving sex criminals a life sentence because there is no incentive to reform themselves if society treats them harshly. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  16. Absolutely...this is why it's important to be conservative with our morality. If we don't keep ourselves in check, It could get to the point where statutory rape isn't rape anymore, but merely consensual sex between two humans that have reached the age of physical sexual maturity. History has a tendency to repeat itself. Who knows...maybe one day you or your future relative will be the conservative fighting the liberalism of sexual freedom? 18. 1 John 4:2-4New King James Version (NKJV) 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. And.... 1 John 4:14-16New King James Version (NKJV) 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. I stand on these scriptures. The bottom line, only the Lord knows for certain the ones who are with Him. It is a decision of the heart not of the mind. Only God knows your heart. If someone claims Jesus Christ as Lord and behaves in contrast to scripture I say they are seeking trouble. I can discuss their behavior but I cannot discuss the condition of their heart. Amen Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  19. I think we should just take all their money and send them all the guns they need to solve their own 1300 year old stupidity. Sounds like the mentality of the 8% of legal gun dealers in the U.S that sell guns illegally to criminals... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  20. If one is going to make a claim that something is against their religious beliefs, shouldn't they have to argue their case and prove it rather than just stating it? It's highly unlikely that Christians can use biblical references to condemn the use of contraception...it's just not there. There are references however that could be used to support the idea of sexual pleasure without the intent of reproduction: Proverbs 5:18-19 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. 21. It's even harder for sex offenders. They can't live near schools, playgrounds, etc. even if their crime was not against children. The restrictions got so bad in Miami that the only place registered sex offenders could live was under a highway overpass. And they couldn't move to another city because that would violate their probation. I'm not condoning sex crimes in any way, but if society wants to remove those people permanently, then they need to be sentenced to life without parole. Giving someone five years, but then not letting them rejoin society in any meaningful way doesn't give them any incentive to reform themselves. Given the impetuous nature of some people here, (e.g, normiss) I can understand why you'd actually feel the need to give a disclaimer of not condoning sex crimes, but surely you don't actually believe that either of the two extremes you've posted represent the majority of sex crimes/criminals, do you? 24. That's easy...All of Matthew 7 pretty much answers your questions. Emphasis on Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easythat leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." 25. It really depends if you want to kill children or adults. Are you looking to do a school or a workplace shooting? I wouldn't mind using your avatar for target practice...left/right fist for precision, pink mohawk for accuracy... Would that help you feel more like a straight person? About as much as shooting beer bottles makes me feel like a prohibitionist... Ya...I bet you can. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
