The hate that the evangelical movement in America exhibits towards those who do not fit their version of “what god wants “ is always an inspiration to me. So because of that you guys just start making shit up by implying that evangelicals are just a bunch of antisemitic pricks that don't want Jews here in the U.S and only support Israel's existence so that they can be destroyed? Are you going to actually backup your claim or just walk it back like skwrl?
-
Not sure why you're singling out the Jews - the idea is that it'll be a war between good and evil, in a time where the belief in God will no longer be a matter of faith.
-
What does that have to do with wanting Israel to be destroyed?
-
I'm aware of the ideas in those articles as well, but I disagree with skwrl and gowlerk that evangelicals don't want Jews in the U.S and only support Israel so that it can be destroyed.
-
Maybe read a little. (It's a Washington Post article, but read through Outline.com since I don't have a WaPo subscription.) Additionally, it creates a little bit of a weird dynamic. Nothing in those articles justifies anything you or gowlerk said in the posts I replied too. Try (reading) again, but this time with a little less hate-fueled ignorance - it's a viscous cycle.

They love it because it has to exist so it can be destroyed for the Second Coming to happen (according to their reading of the Book of Revelations). I wonder if someone who likes me to exist just so I can be destroyed is really my friend, or no... No point in countering this since only a bigoted dickhead that really wanted to believe this, could believe this - and there really isn't much I can do about that.

Like what, holding a gun to a doctor's head and forcing them to prescribe this shit? Fuckers were getting paid 25-100k each.

That's why it's always wise to think twice before responding to someone named Catturd.

I'm not sure who authorized that, but it was not the official release:

A tariff war is pretty much a guaranteed way to cause a downturn. Winning a hot war is a great way to pump up any economy. The dismal science is not completely without answers. "I'd explain it to ya... but I flunked that course. It's not my fault. They taught it at 8 o'clock in the morning. And there is absolutely nothing that you can learn out of one bloodshot eye. After I flunked the first two tests, I grabbed the professor by the throat and I said, "Why are you teaching this shit at this ungodly hour? Are you trying to keep this stuff a secret?"
-
Wow, good one! Thanks!

The economy goes up, it goes down, it goes up, it goes down, it goes up, it goes down, nobody knows why the fuck it happens. And I know this, because I took economics. . .

Yet Trump survived his trip to Dallas last week - he must be doing something right. . .

Ya, they do that so you guys can only rep whore so many points off each other per day. At least a third of some peoples' reps here are from lame one liners, or copy/pasting jokes that they didn't even make up themselves - and it diminishes the value of the system, effectively rendering it useless. I mean this is a skydiving website first, but most of the rep points are coming from a sociopolitical sub-forum designed to keep that type of content from polluting the rest of the community. If a newbie came here for skydiving tips, how do they know if the poster's positive rep was earned by posting reliable skydiving info rather then by jacking-off a bunch of biased circle-jerk points? I can see having the ability to up-vote political content, but it shouldn't be part of the runny tally for one's rep if it's not a political website in the first place. Also, if someone is posting unreliable and possibly dangerous skydiving content, the community should be able mark it as such by down-voting it, which I know is a feature of this forum's interface.

From your own link, though: "The schisms of the Middle Ages and especially the Protestant Reformation, sometimes provoked severe conflicts between Christian denominations to the point of persecuting each other." Yes, we all know that - and it's been talked about several times in the thread already, and probably another 10,000 times in other threads over the years. The link outlines the nearly 2000 years of persecution that Jakee was questioning, including the christian on christian wars/persecution. And yes, they are bigoted dickheads too. I mean, I just said that several posts ago in my reply to joe, and then Jakee came in and called them bigoted violent christians. Did you have something to add to that, or what?

Earth. Not sure if they have wiki on whatever frigid planet you're from, but you should check it out before you go.

The 4th installment is currently in preproduction and is set to be released in a couple years. I'm looking forward to it, but I doubt it'll revolutionize filmmaking and animation like the first two films in that series. I was lucky enough to read the script for Matrix Reloaded prior to it's release. It's really interesting to compare your own vision of the text with that of the directors final cut. But it does tend to limit the suspense, and fight scenes aren't as entertaining.

Pretty much exactly what everyone else thinks about the hyperbolic hysteria of your posts, I’d say. True, it's not absolutely necessary for me to compare atheistic bigotry of today with that of atheistic bigotry of 100 years ago to show how bigoted it really is, but where's the fun in that? And just so you know, it was Nigel's hyperbolic hysteria across several threads that prompted me to make the comparison in the first place. I mean you can't just expect me to let that shit go in a public forum even if I don't live in some shithole country and represent an oppressed minority - which apparently to you is compulsory of a valid grievance. No, I'm talking about atheist rhetoric of today and it's similarities with anti-religious propaganda, even before Stalin. And as hateful as that all is, it's still protected speech - and as I explained to Nigel, I think Christianity can live with that level of relatively benign bigotry. After the fucking Bolos took over, there was still a fierce debate over how the "opiate of religion" should be handled. Those on the right felt that that religion would just die naturally with the influence of science, education and anti-religious propaganda, especially after the elimination of religion in schools and the public square. Those on the left felt a more militant approach was necessary. As they grew weary of waiting for religion to die, the full might of the leftist's militant approach was realized. I'm not sure where you've been, but in case you haven't noticed, our material is doing just fine. I mean it's survived almost 2000 years of persecution - the harder you fight the stronger we get, thanks be to God. The bigoted principles of atheism failed the soviets even when accompanied by force, and they will fail again under today's more passive approach, finally liberating atheists from delusions of some kind of atheist utopia. Who pretends? That shit was real. Some of it was because of religion, some of it was because of politics, some of it was for money, power, control, resources - you know, the usual. In every case they were the bigoted dickheads of their day regardless of the justifications for their sickening behavior. When you see rhetoric that's reminiscent of humanity's notorious past, you call it out, just like I'm calling out the stereotypical broad-brushing hatred of religion by bigoted atheists of today - but apparently you guys see that type hatred as a means to an end, so you're OK with it. Ya, way to take the most recent, least offensive piece of propaganda to make a point while ignoring everything else - give me a break. And as I've already said, this is all be protected speech, but that doesn't mean it isn't hateful and bigoted - I thought you people stood against that type of stuff. Nah, I've already mentioned how some atheists were sickened with how the religious were being treated, and opposed a militant approach, but history is full of examples of relatively good, well intentioned people finding themselves in precarious situations and doing very bad things. Absolutely, that's why I said It's not like the soviets suddenly woke up one day and said "hey, let's kill tens of millions of Christians along with tens of millions of other people that are standing in our way of "progress." But they obviously had a special kind of hard-on for eliminating religion, especially when they got tired of waiting for it to die off after the Russian civil war like they had hoped, which is why they amped-up production of strictly anti-religious newspapers and designated various groups like the Militant Godless and other atheist goons to promote atheism by any means necessary. “Militant atheism is not merely incidental or marginal to Communist policy. It is not a side effect, but the central pivot” - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
-
No need for all that again. I'm merely pointing out how much of the anti-religious shit spewed by atheists today isn't that much different than shit spewed by bigoted dickheads 100 years ago. You guys need new material.
-
You're just being silly. . .maybe even a little desperate.
-
The study was conducted in 2015. It's actually more recent than the Pew Research figure you referenced earlier. (snicker) Correct, militant atheists just committed atrocities in hope of stamping out the "drug" of religion, among other thing of course.
-
Perhaps you didn't get the memo: "despite predictions that religion will go the way of dinosaurs, the size of almost every major faith -- sorry, Buddhists -- will increase in the next 40 years, according to a study released Thursday by the Pew Research Center. The biggest winners, Pew predicts, will be Islam and Christianity." https://www.cnn.com/2015/04/02/living/pew-study-religion/index.html

Oh please, If Trump died today you guys would be running around in a circle-jerk singing ding-dong the witch is dead, lol. BTW, what are you doing for Halloween?
-
I suppose that if you're not familiar with the soviet bastardization of marxist principles and the role that atheism played in all of that, then I guess it would be difficult to recognize the rather chilling similarities between the anti-religious rhetoric of atheists today and that of atheist propaganda during soviet rule. But that didn't stop you from calling me dishonest and saying that he NEVER said it, when you clearly didn't know that. The fact is that I was talking to Nigel - he knows he said it, and I know he said it. Why do you need me to link it for you to admit your error? Why can't you just admit that you didn't know what you were talking about? The problem is that the longer this type of bigoted mindset festers, the less figurative it is likely to become. But good luck with that: "despite predictions that religion will go the way of dinosaurs, the size of almost every major faith -- sorry, Buddhists -- will increase in the next 40 years, according to a study released Thursday by the Pew Research Center. The biggest winners, Pew predicts, will be Islam and Christianity." https://www.cnn.com/2015/04/02/living/pew-study-religion/index.html
