  1. Fuck ya man - means I don't have to preach anymore.
  2. That's funny. All I see non-believers doing to "control" others is to resist the control and stop it. Ya, by citing Christian principles and posting bible verses. Philippians 1:15-18 "It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice"
  3. Atheists always bitch about how people use religion to control others. Sort of hypocritical when they do the same thing, even if they don't believe, right? That's what webs was talking about.
  4. Maybe it's because most of them don't, really. Pretty simple stuff. Ya, prefect time to guilt trip the shit out of them into doing what you want them to do. hypocrites!
  5. Ya, atheists like you trying to politically influence Christians that you think don't do WWJD - same shit as as your "think of the children" for gun control farce. And then there are the true atheists - like the fucking Bolos back in the day that made an alliance with Muslims just to win the Russian civil war - and look what happened to them when it was all over. Same fucking shit, different fucking day.
  6. Funny, that's why I'd back you. . . Edit: Let's face it. Trump won the game of dirty politics. Nothing to see here folks - time to move on.
  7. Then if it's never really believing, then how is it Christianity first? Listen, for the most part Christians are just like any other protected class, and broad-brush stereotypes have never really worked out well. What is it with your preoccupation with Christianity? I vaguely remember an allusion from you awhile back - is it because you're gay or something? Honest question. Anyway, we're probably more alike than different, so for the country, it's probably in our best interest to get along and/or find some common ground upon which we can move forward.
  8. Slightly more bitter to me. Ya, but beggars can't be choosers. I've really noticed the bitterness when I over-cooked them once, much like garlic when it's even slightly burned. Anyway, I'm only coming back here as a last resort to see if you or anyone else has ideas for a restaurant-style Chinese stir-fry sauce - beef/broccoli/peppers/whatever, probably some garlic - not too gingery or sweet. (I'm not against using ginger/sweeter ingredients as long as it's not too sweet and overwhelming if you know what I mean) I've tried everything but just can't seem to find the right mix - either too sweet or bitter. I just can't seem to figure out the chinese-american secret to their cuisine. Apparently it's well guarded against the inevitably destructive nature of excessively greedy American capitalism. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, however please note that any recipe calling for over 1Tbsp of soy sauce will be physically printed up and burned.
  9. 1. JoeWebs asked you if the highest earners should pay a higher percentage of their income than the kid with a lemonade stand? 2. The child within me only saw the words "lemonade stand," so I went on a tangent about how horny old assholes were trying to shut us down at garage sales way back in the 2015s. 3. Kallend said that horny old assholes aren't part of the government and that my comment was irrelevant to the question. 4. Gowlerk then said that my comment was a good way to avoid answering the question that Weber was asking you. 5. I told him that since you hadn't logged in yet to see the question, it was doubtful that you were avoiding it. 5. Then I told Webs about how they were talking about lemonade stands on Wheel of Fortune. 6. Damn you for making me repeat all that. 7. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. 8. I award myself no points, and my God have mercy on my soul.
  10. I don't want to wait for that. I want drunk drivers off the roads now, not sometime in the future after thousands more are killed. Ya, and if you don't like it, move to Texas!
  11. You are shitting me. No, and now Vanna and Pat are talking about their childhood lemonade stand as well. So see, it is relevant.
  12. A classic example of over regulation by the nanny state. The HOA members should have just beat the shit out of the little bastards until the word got around. It takes a village. A puzzle on Wheel of Fortune tonight was "Neighborhood Lemonade Stand."
  13. "Copying and pasting the words of somebody else is not a conversation. At the very least, the person should make a comment in relation to the wall of text they've copied and posted so we know where the poster himself stands in relationship to it. Give it some context so you aren't simply acting as a copy and paste meat robot on behalf for some PR firm, lobbying group, or news site."
  14. Airdvr hasn't logged in since Saturday so I doubt he's avoiding it. So fucking what?
  15. HOAs up here shut down kid lemonade stands citing possible health concerns and the lack of proper documentation/permits. Only the village's properly licensed concession entity can provide refreshments during the annual community garage sale.
  16. Right, that way when we go bust, at least we have something to show for it.
  17. I can see the point in this, and it is funny. But isn't that what Hilary tried last time around? Ya, but you can't wait for your concession speech to do it.
  18. It's quite apparent that the only ones you're impressing at this point are those in your little rep whoring clique.
  19. Just because you're under the limit doesn't mean that you're not impaired and can't be charged with an OWI. You'd likely be found not guilty if you decided to take it to trial, but it'll probably cost you 10-20k. Same thing even if a PBT showed that you were over the limit. PBTs aren't admissible in court, so as long as there isn't hard video evidence of your impairment or a blood draw to prove absolutely that you were over the limit, a skilled trial lawyer would likely get you off on reasonable doubt. But in the other thread awhile back your sole argument for banning ARs was "THINK OF THE CHILDREN," but now when we have a solution that actually would save many more lives, you argue how it's conceivable that it might cause you to abandon your principles and allow you to drink and drive. The only thing conceivable about that is it's utter nonsense, and only shows how I was right about the glaring inconsistency with "thinking of the children," but only when it suites your agenda.
  20. Why? Because that's how the pros do it!
  21. Perhaps, but many of the responses here suggest fragmented thinking.
  22. Ok, so from your article: As warm and fuzzy as that all is, I'd agree that that's pretty much the common sentiment shared among the vast majority of evangelicals - and Christians in general. The article then goes on to talk about some antisemitic pastors and a couple of youtube sensations. They mentioned "Christian identity," like the hate group with like 17 churches in a handful of States, and declining.
  23. What the hell is this, a fucking intervention?
