No, I think Quade got it right. The issue is that this platform of "family values" does not align with your own and people want to knock them for it. People continually say it's not about his personal life, but then make it about his personal life....example: Kallend: "Newt's personal life is not the issue. The issue is that his personal life is....bla bla bla." Personally I think it would be best if people did stick to the issue, ie. their family values vs. yours... After all, who is more likely to deliver on those conservative family values...Newt or Snatorum? ...and who is more likely to compromise them? (which is what you want.) Since you refuse answer when you saw this 10 min "lecture", I'll have to assume it's the same one I saw several weeks ago that was probably in response to the band wagon that had already taken off with the Tebow Hater's club, SNL, and whoever else. Before all this hoopla I figured Tebow was just another overrated quarterback because he has that all american football "look" and a funny name that sounds really cool when you shout it out loud...Then I saw that 10 minute "lecture" or whatever you wanna call it and saw him as an individual with a very exceptional personality whose positivity is something with which you'd want to surround yourself. Personally I don't see myself as over paying too much attention to this tebow hype, he's just another guy worthy of taking note. I thought this troll post from gher was laughable - probably the most predictable and stupid thing ever posted in SC. I really had no inclination to humor it, but I thought Andy Boyd's post was spot on and showed some class. His post enticed me to shed some light on the question of how someone cannot like this guy regardless of wether or not you believe in God.
