Wow, that thought never crossed my mind before, ever. I can't ever remember sleeping while crossing over into the new year. That just seems so foreign and bizarre to me - I don't even know if I could do it... You've never had two kids under age 2, have you? Nope, just one...still don't see how that would change anytthing. I stayed up with my parents on New Years ever since I could remember...maybe that's why sleeping seems so foreign to me...it just never seemed to be an option. For me, it didn't have anything to do with the direct consequences of compulsive sexual behavior such as the emotional/physical trauma of STD's, infidelity/home-wrecking but rather the indirect consequences of having a mindset that revolved completely around sex and how it influenced most of my decisions whether I was conscious of it or not. I put myself in some shady situations, with shady people in shady places that led to a series of unfortunate events that just compounded the problem and cultivated other compulsive vices...that viscous circle, if you will. In relationships, sex was the answer for everything and the real issues were never resolved. I've learned the hard way that good sex is not the agent of happiness but rather the expression of true love in a healthy relationship where the couple is already happy. I could probably go on at length but no reason to stink the place up even more and risk being misunderstood...I'm not the best at communication. I agree...no point in being a dick at a small friendly game, especially heads up. Most people bitch about donks earlier on in bigger tourneys, not at the end since donks don't usually make it that far. Even if they do, everyone tends to play more aggressive when you're down to 3-4 players and you will have to get "lucky" anyway.. The skill of the game is knowing how to make it through a thick field and giving yourself a chance to cash at the final table. I am curious though to know how the final hand played out...
