Cutaway is indeed a shitty movie, and is totally unrealistic, but if ya ask me, they caught the "stages of the jumper" pretty well. The "Im a newbie and will never get it" stage, the "I'm just starting to get it and becoming arrogant as fuck" stage, the "Okay I realize I'm okay but I can learn more" stage, then to the "Everyone looks up to me like I'm some God or something but I'm not" stage. I think everybody goes through all of these, whether they realize it or not, and the camera got all these well. Maybe I'm just overanalyzing it, but it's just MHO. SWEET. Yeah, I'd have to say he's good. I did some fun head down jumps with Bill Hughes (Missy's camera dude) this weekend, does that count? He's a damn good flyer, and a really nice guy too!! Man, I wanna get out there just to jump with some high caliber freeflyers. I'd so so damn thrilled just to do a four way hd dive with an actual PLAN to it. I gotta meet your bf!! Well, I'm no doctor, and I know nothing of your problems with your ears (or any medical stuff for that matter), but I would tell a person to wear ear plugs and spend the whole ride clearing out your ears (by yawning, swallowing, etc.). If that doesn't work, and you still wanna jump, I would suggest learning sign language. Ya know, just in case.
