    I noticed last saturday (we had a busy tandem day) that everyload I was on (I did 9 jumps) was mostly full of staff members and customers. TI's, tandem passengers, a few AFF intructors with stucents, the 4 way team, who I think gets a lot better rate I'm sure. There weren't alot of what I would call "fun jumpers" that just jumped for fun and didn't work it off somehow. I'm in no way blaming a DZO for high fuel bills, I just hate to see the sport stop growing. How do ya like it Johnny?

    I understand that fuel prices are high and I'm not a dropzone owner and probably wouldn't ever want to be. Since I started jumping just over 8 years ago, turbine jump ticket prices have went up $7. The last price increase was a $2 jump. These high jump ticket prices are going to hurt the sport. People aren't going to jump as much. How do ya like it Johnny?

    As soon as I made my 500th jump I wanted my tandem rating. I had never had a cutaway so I rented the rig and did and intentional breakaway on the proper 3 canopy system like you were supposed to do. (about 4 years in the sport) About 50 jumps later I had a real malfunction, a line over. Probably 200 jumps later I had a bag lock. Last fall I had my first tandem cut away, a tension knot with the slider up. How do ya like it Johnny?

    Kids are a lot of fun at that age. Spend as much time with them as you can, they grow up fast. My son just turned 12. I look at that picture and think that it was just yesterday. How do ya like it Johnny?

    We have a training video that each student watches. It starts off with the lawyer that wrote the liability release waiver that they have already signed, and gives them the opportunity to back out once it has been bluntly explained to them. The next part of the tape breifly explains the equipment, rig, passenger harness, and hook up proocedures. It then shows an exit as it explains body position, then under canopy and landing. After watching the tape the student is paired with an instructor and they go over the important stuff. How do ya like it Johnny?

    One of the jumpers had a malfunction, cut away and landed safley under a reserve. That is the way it was told to me. How do ya like it Johnny?
