  1. Terry, They are 1" Type3 Tape. Chris, They are 22" standard (generally measure closer to 21.5" after shrinkage from sewing). We can make them any length in 1" increments. We can even make them if you dont currently jump an Infinity, just let me know what side the RSL ring needs to be on. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  2. Here ya go! Front Dive Loops are just a continuation of the T17 folded back and again. We have a little flexibility here and have used 1" Type4 to form the front dive loop, if you prefer. We swage an AMP fitting to the hard housing and then a grommet holds the fitting to the riser. Any comments, let me know. If I didnt capture a good picture of what you wanted to see, let me know as well. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  3. Terry, I'll try to track down the camera. Anything specific you are looking for in the way of pictures? Certain angles, etc? -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  4. How much do an extra pair of risers generally cost? I'm not sure what the industry wide "going rate" is, but I can tell you that VSE currently sells risers for $95 with Cadmium plated hardware or $125 with Stainless hardware. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  5. NYC, Looks like I just missed your reply last night. I pulled the order form for that container and it was built for a PD 170. The Sabre2 150 should go in there just fine. The Sabre2 135 may be a bit on the loose side. Before you commit to purchasing the 135, see if you can borrow one from someone around the DZ to pack into your container, or get a demo from PD. Once it is packed, have your rigger take a look just to be certain that it wont be a safety issue. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  6. Hey NYC, If you can find the serial number and model number of the rig, which is printed on the TSO tag, I'd be happy to look it up and get you that info. Also, what kind of 135 or 150 are you planning to downsize to? -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  7. Many of us order our raw materials from domestic mills, however many of the mills import the raw materials they use (hence the whole Berry Amendment hoopla going on right now). Over the last 2 years I've seen a pretty astounding number of letters come through the mail, from our suppliers, saying that prices will be going up. Everything from plastics, grommets, thread, woven goods, to having the user manuals printed. At this point, it's only going to get worse. Many of the mills are so swamped producing goods for the military that they have drastically cut back on the stuff that the sport industry uses. When you need a material, you need a material, if you get it from a middle man or a competitor, you're going to pay a premium. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment

  9. Parastock: (386) 736-9444 If that doesnt work, call UPT, they are one in the same. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  10. Since most dropzones are located on airports, you can reference the A/FD that the FAA publishes. It contains information about most airports. Some DZ's are run on private airports and this directory may not contain that info. You can find the A/FD here: http://naco.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=naco/online/d_afd -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  11. Sergey, Sorry for taking so long to get you the pictures. Seemed like I could find the camera but not the memory stick and then the batteries were dead... Anyways, here are some pictures of how the toggles operate and the line stow. Kelly is out in the shop and asked me to post these up for you. Any questions, just let me know.
  12. Dave, I havent seen published canopy volume's but It seems to be an in between of a PDR 113 and PDR 126. Typically for an Infinity Container, we have been able to get an Optimum 143 into our I-1x series that is made for a PDR 113. It's a bit snug and it packs up pretty solid. However, we will sometimes put them into our I-2x series if the jumper plans to us a main size not compatible with an I-1x container. It packs up softer than a PDR 126 but still fills out the container pretty nice. (I know you were asking Mark at UPT but I thought you could use this as a reference.) -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  13. To avoid confusion, the 2 manuals I posted above are for the older Infinity's (serial number less than 6000). They were produced when the company was owned by Larry C. I do not have an original digital copy (to my knowledge) of that manual for easy reproduction so the Northern Lite III manuals will only be available in digital format. Current model Infinity's manufactured by Velocity Sports Equipment (Serial number 6000 and higher) will continue to be shipped with a printed manual and the manuals both print and digital will continue to be available from us.
  14. I am down to my very last hard copies of the Northern Lite III manuals and people have been asking for them lately. We do not intend to get any more printed up, so this post is to let everyone know that they are now available online. Northern Lite III Infinity (1 Pin) Northern Lite III (2 Pin) You can also access them by visiting our website: 1. Http://www.velocityrigs.com 2. Click "Support" Near the top 3. Click "Owners Manual" on the left side menu All Owners Manuals hosted on VSE's Website -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  15. Spectra lines. I wouldnt think they'd include the bag in the measurement. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  16. I know of a rig that also uses DJ-SSA, and you can unthread them. Jeff You better watch out... I'll spin that as an Infinity Safety feature -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  17. Triathalon 160 419 Cu. in. / 168 Sq. Ft. Keep in mind that the paragear chart is an approximation and the rig manufacturer would be the better metric. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  18. Hey James, It sounds like Mel and Jeff already answered your questions. (Thanks guys!) When a rig is ordered with stainless steel hardware, we use the SSA friction adapters which can not be completely unthreaded. On special request, we can install the 2 piece (Parachutes de France style) SP888 hardware, which can be unthreaded. It is desireable for some of the "experienced" jumpers to thread the leg straps rather than stepping in. When a rig is ordered with Cadmium plated hardware, we use a 22040 which can be unthreaded. The 22040 has a larger frame than the SSA and of course B12 snaps are also available. So until they start making a large frame stainless steel friction adapter, we will be using the SSA as standard and SP888 by request. -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
  19. Near the back of your para gear catalog there is a list of many canopies with their cu. in. volume. If you dont have one, post up your Canopy Make, Model, and size and I would be happy to look it up for you.
  20. Thanks Jeff! We've got the housings, give me a call and we'll see if we can help you out. Depending on how you're installing them, we can put the ends on for you, if you'd prefer. -Tony (253) 445-8790 -Tony (253) 445-8790 Velocity Sports Equipment
