    Sounds like it was still a pretty cool scene even if they weren't swooping.     Do people really believe that Romney had an equal chance in life to someone born into poverty? He didn't "make" that money on his own...just being born to his parents guaranteed he would make that kind of money as long as he didn't become a heroin addict. You must be very naive if you think you can make that kind of dough in America without a leg up from birth. It's remotely possible, but the vast majority are just born into wealth and are trained from birth on how to perpetuate that wealth. The few and far between stories of poor people "rising to the top" are just stories the rich tell the poor to keep them quiet. It's sad you all think that the rich are so superior to you as human beings. They're not.

    Dude I can guarantee you it is going to be scary as fuck on the plane ride up and especially while shuffling towards the door... Either just do it and force your way through the fear or don't bother. I can also guarantee you that you will not regret your decision once you leave the plane door. I say go for it and just try not to puke on your instructor.

    The student completely failed at all 3 pull priorities. He was grossly negligent in saving his own life. The DZ should counter sue the party who brought this lawsuit as libel. The student simply was unable to follow the most basic skydiving rule: 1. Pull priorities: a. Jumpers must deploy at the planned altitude, regardless of stability. b. Priorities are in the following order of importance (top down): (1) Pull. (2) Pull at the correct altitude. (3) Pull while stable. http://www.uspa.org/tabid/239/Default.aspx

    Red Bull is the most successful energy drink...they do very well...and I'm pretty sure beverage companies are known for spending a LOT of money on advertising. Thank goodness this is how they're spending it....

    welcome! I also got injured during training...it can be rough learning! did one of your toggles come undone when the canopy opened causing a spin? what do you mean you didn't have your left toggle?
