    nope no hard opening..I was trying to look at the windsock, but regardless the plan was to land west and I knew that, but I still landed east for some reason. The scary thing was that my brain basically shut off for 5 seconds and did the opposite of what I was trying to do...

    The other day I turned into my final approach at 500 feet and I suddenly FORGOT where I was in my pattern. I absolutely didn't know what to do so I made the "decision" to do a hard 180 and landed opposite direction downwind... luckily I was the only one in the sky..WTF :(

    I was watching a show about air force one the other day and it made me wonder... Do you think they have an elite tandem master on air force one any time the president is on board? Seems like it would be a good idea, no?
