a bank should be able to give you a personal loan with a better interest rate than a credit card.

all you old fogeys need to get with the times. stop standing in the way of the innevitable march of progress! noobs snapping their necks on gopros is the wave of the future and if you can't accept that you're just going to be left behind.

Shockingly, skydiving can still be fun if you're alone. Some consider this a radical concept, but you will still fall in a similar manner without someone watching you do back flips. If you're not a girl you may not have tons of people clamoring to jump with you for free. You can still work on your exit, body position, tracking, and canopy flight alone. Also, it's fun. Actually I'm lying. You should never ever jump alone. Total waste of time and money and completely unfun.

Advice on a suit & rig for a newbie

Even if you have "no interest in relative work" it's still a good idea to learn how to fall relative to other people before progressing to more advanced stuff. -

the uninsured are inflicting a much greater expense on society and your fellow tax payers than people covered under state plans. sorry to break the news to you. -

This happened to me too... apparently if you get a certain number of points on your license in NY state within a given period of time (1-3 years I forget) they will give you an additional fine. I plead guilty to a couple moving violations and got another fine in the mail for $500. Ever since then I plead not guilty and go to court. They reduce the fine and the points on your license. I would pay it and plead not guilty next time.

deltron80 replied to BjornTheBear's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
do yourself a favor and make sure you have some health insurance. broken ankles run about $50k. -
when you get a new electronic gadget, you still have to remember to put on your rig.

Yes..OP please provide us with an update! Can you post some of the responses you got from manufacturers?? -
I would avoid Arizona unless you want to have fascists asking you for your papers all the time. Go to a free state instead.

I have a feeling that your spectacular rack is effecting the reaction you get from strangers. I'm sure you're a good person too.
