  1. If I remember my history correctly it seems as this was similarly tried in the 18th constitutional amendment with something else. Then something in the future about a 21st amendment due to the ineffectiveness or un-enforceability of the 18th. Muff #5048
  2. Ok. Going with that, if said mag limit restriction were placed, what do you do about the millions of mags with a capacity higher than 5 (Many lever-action rifles have a tubular magazine under the barrel with a higher capacity than 5 rounds)? Also, when you say 5, do you mean 5 rounds in the gun total or a limit of 5 rounds in the magazine? Muff #5048
  3. What should the max mag capacity be? And on what are you basing that train of thought? Muff #5048
  4. A compromise I would be willing to make is no bump fire stocks as long as I can buy a suppressor as easily as I can a rifle. Muff #5048
  5. I guarantee you I can physically operate a vehicle with or without a license. Muff #5048
  6. No. You don't "need" a license to drive a truck. Also, if I get caught using a gun inappropriately or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs I will also go to jail. But, you don't "have" to register a truck to use it. I have a friend with a race car. Pretty damn sure it isn't registered. I have 2 unregistered vehicles. Wanna take a stab as to how many times I've been pulled over while driving either one on my land? Muff #5048
  7. Ok. Lets turn it around a bit then. Do you have to pass a background check to buy a truck? Also, can you please show me where in the BOR is my constitutional right to buy/drive a truck? Is it illegal for me to sell a truck across state lines? Cars don't require registration to operate. Why should I be required to register a gun? Muff #5048
  8. You do if it is a commercial truck. Every 6 months. The word "truck" was used. I drive a truck, and an inspection for my truck is not required whatsoever. Muff #5048
  9. Not to nitpick, but... Do you need a license specific to the type of truck you buy? No. You don't have to have a license to purchase a truck. Do you need to register it? No. As long as it stays on your property. Do you need to insure a truck to use it outside your home? No. As long as it stays on your property and isn't under lien. Do you have to have your truck inspected regularly by a government-licensed shop? Absolutely not. Not even to use it on the road. Muff #5048
  10. Not aimed at you Bill, just FYI for others... http://science.howstuffworks.com/question112.htm Muff #5048
  11. Ever fired a .22 lr pistol with sub-sonic ammo and a suppressor? Ear pro? No thanks. My tv is louder. Muff #5048
  12. And don't think for one second that the NRA has any aspirations of helping to get the NFA repealed any time soon. Thing of it is (at least as it pertains to machine guns) that you may only purchase one that was manufactured prior to 1968 thereby putting a finite amount of machine guns able to be owned on the market. What this has done has made machine guns that you may own more of an "investment" (from a couple thousand $$ to well over $100k) as the price will only go up as more and more people decide they want one. Now think about who actually has the money to buy guns like this. That's right, probably the top donators to the NRA. The NRA won't go after the NFA simply because their top contributors would lose their investment value of their firearm. Muff #5048
  13. It's often confused me as to why a muffler for a gun was ever so hard to get in the first place. Muff #5048
  14. In all of that text, where did it say that Rush said "there is no hurricane" as Billvon quoted? Muff #5048
  15. Can you please cite where he said this. I'm having trouble finding it. Muff #5048

  17. Never been to court. I don't speed. You? Muff #5048
  18. Federal prosecution? No. However, I still must either pay a monetary fine (which is admittance of guilt btw) and my insurance goes up as well as getting points on my license, or I must take time away from my workplace in order to go to court to argue my case. What LEGAL ramifications has Hillary incurred? What monetary fines were imposed? The "I learned my lesson" doesn't do shit to get people like you and me out of legal trouble. Why should it for Hillary? Muff #5048
  19. Cool. So if I didn't intend to speed I shouldn't receive a citation. Muff #5048
  20. I have some questions. How are the proverbial "doors and windows" locked? I'm not really a computer guy. What stops someone from just creating new user accounts and keep posting? Can a devices IP address be blocked? Then what if someone is using a VPN to hide their IP address? Just curious about how a perma-block is done. Muff #5048
  21. My fidget spinners are way too expensive for me to take into freefall. Wouldn't want to lose them. Muff #5048
  22. Depends. Are they in the country illegally? Muff #5048
  23. Quoted from the Washington Post story provided. Muff #5048
  24. http://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/us-immigration/crime-enter-illegally.html What Is Illegal Entry? The immigration law actually uses the term "improper entry," which has a broad meaning. It’s more than just slipping across the U.S. border at an unguarded point. Improper entry can include: •entering or attempting to enter the United States at any time or place other than one designated by U.S. immigration officers (in other words, away from a border inspection point or other port of entry) •eluding examination or inspection by U.S. immigration officers (people have tried everything from digging tunnels to hiding in the trunk of a friend’s car) •attempting to enter or obtain entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or willful concealment of a material fact (which might include, for example, lying on a visa application or buying a false green card or other entry document). (See Title 8, Section 1325 of the U.S. Code (U.S.C.), or Section 275 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (I.N.A.) for the exact statutory language - www.uscis.gov/laws/immigration-and-nationality-act.) *** Improper entry to the country is a crime.
