    My theory is that one can still use landmines as a deterrant to keep people from going where you dont want them to. Well, that and they are, quite possible, the cheapest most low maintenance form of perimeter protection. Why we dont use them on our own border with mexico and canada escapes me. Muff #5048

    I'm surprised that noone has asked yet so I will. What the fuck was the driver doing pushing the pedal to the floor with his/her family in the car? I thought that's something you do when you kind of want to drive fast. But yeah, the easy fix is to just push in the clutch and hit the brakes. On an auto, just move the shift lever out of drive and into neutral (I have yet to see an auto trans where you CAN'T do this but they may exist) then hit the brakes. I blame the drivers incompitance.     Thanks everyone for posting. Kind of helps to keep in touch with sane people (and yes I'm saying that about a bunch of skydivers). All in all though, it really isn't that bad. Well other than the fact that the IDF thinks its a great idea to practice with their .50 machine guns at 0030. I really cant wait until I can get a couple of people who want to go to Liberty for some supplies..... Well at least better supplies than we have here at the Sather BX. Fortunately one of my roommates sold me his leg mounted ammo/radio pouch for a measly $40 (usually more than $60 if you're lucky enough to find them in the BX). Anywho, you guys and gals stay safe in the air up there and keep me posted on any shenanigans. Muff #5048

    Hi John and thanks. Dont worry too much about the danger. All I did today was follow around a TCN that was driving a dump truck (you know to make sure he didnt fuck up or anything). The real danger is when you go to the perimeter ECP's, but even that isnt too bad. If the LN's aren't worried I'm sure as hell not. Muff #5048

    Glock 22 (.40 S&W). Ammo is handload Nosler 145 grain JHP with Accurate#7 powder (forget the ammt of grains right now). But yeah definately spend a good deal of time at the range practicing. It took me several hundred rounds before I found a specific load that my gun "likes" and got good with it. Muff #5048

    An Aerodyne Pilot main (sized appropiatly of course), but since I own one I'm kind of biased. I did have a Sabre2 for quite some time, but enjoy the Pilot much more........ but I digest. Muff #5048

    Even at normal speed it still seems rather ballsy. Im not a biker so I really dont know what kind of skill is involved, but still being able to slow down and speed up that fast while avioding obsticals seems to require a certian amount of skill....... And lets keep the legality out of the discussion because really I dont give a shite. Im more interrested in bikers opinions on this sort of riding. Muff #5048
