its all in the packing, they are packed more like a reserve than like anything else, minus a spring loaded PC. the canopies themselves are designed for consistent openings first instead of being designed for landing characteristics or flight characteristics first like our standard sport canopy is designed. there are some other things that are done to a base rig/container system that allows for faster opening but i wont get into that, you can visit basejumper.com if you are interested. more or less those tracking pants/jacket are for BASE, i have a friend with them, you can use them for skydiving but you might as well buy a beginner wingsuit or a RW booty suit. on your 201st jump when you get a wingsuit instructor, they will teach you what you need to know, i dont suggest buying a tracking suit just yet. you're not trying hard enough with the search function, it works for everyone else, but to appease you and not turn you away from the sport here we go.... rig: risers PC dbag main: links (s or french) slider reserve: slider links (s or french) if you get a demo from PD i believe they come with everything you need, just need to take your dbag off of your old main and attach it to the demo canopy, then attach the risers to the container and voila, go jump...i do suggest having a rigger or a packer check it over before you go jump it if you decide to do the rigging yourself, which i think you should b/c its good experience. i know i missed something so have at me =D JewBag. www.jewbag.wordpress.com

im just gonna go out on a limb here and tell you not to listen to him, that is probably the most retarded thing i ever heard and if i knew what DZ you learned at i would not recommend any of my friends to go learn there. this sport is supposed to be fun, you should not have to enter a contract to get into it. now i can see why your dz requires you to pay all up front, no-one likes to waste there time, thats why some DZ's require 2 tandems or 1 tandem and 15min in the tunnel. dont you think requiring someone to do 3 jumps in a day during a learning environment could be dangerous, maybe too much sensory overload, not enough decompression time, and not enough time to debrief could cause the student not to learn everything that they should be learning? but for you to tell him that this sport isnt for him i dont think you have grasped the reason we all go to the dropzone, do you know what reason he has only been able to do x amount of jumps in x amount of time?...no? ok then. i did 3 tandems before i started learning, there is nothing wrong with that. maybe you should go bowling or something and stay away from the dz for a while before your head gets so big that you bury yourself into the ground trying to swoop.
