    Stuckist.I'll try and explain.Don't know if you've heard of Billy Childish[Tracy emmins ex]fronts a band called the "Headhunters".Well i mention Billy because STUCKISM is basically his idea,in fact he's famed for it.He's an artist who refuses to profit from his work,does everything for himself[That includes cutting 80+ records]Though work is displayed none of it is for sale at any price..Basically a STUCKIST prefers to work in a state of self induced poverty[maybe for inspiration].My definition of the word stuckist could be wrong but thats how i understand it!possibly meeting up with some artist friends tonight,i'll PM you if you like if i get a better definition....What art school did you stay away from... .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    Fare one!New kit.Something like a Sabre2main or Safire2 both 9cells or Spectre,Triathlon or Omni,all 7cells all make good post student canopies again you could try looking on the gear section of this site for alternatives as for container selection my personal favorite is the PdeF Atom Legend, unfortunately PdeF don,t export there containers to the states[something to do with bloodsucking lawyers me thinks]so if you decided on a Legend you would have to order it in the EU .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    Hold your horses dude.There's a lot to consider like main/reserve canopy selection[something for you to consult with your instructors,me thinks]as for harness/container selection the choice is yours,but something freefly friendly would be good even if you don't intend to take up freeflying as a discipline. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    It's the same the whole world over it's the poor that get the blame!Imagine my my horror,after importing a new crossfire2 from Spain to the UK i was clobberred for£300 VAT and then so a £1400 canopy becomes a£1700 canopy and i think sh*t [hindsight] should've gone to the states or Spain and picked the thing up directly or as would've been possible had a friend pick it up for me! Oh well,thats life .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    I've done exactly the same thing,ideally i'll replace both pillows but as i'm going travelling within the next week or so maybe for 2months i was hoping someone could suggest some sort of fabric dye or paint that will not react with the original fabric.This would also allow me to customise the pillows to my own design.Cheers Trig .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    I recently took delivery of a new jumpsuit!Now my problem is that the jumpsuit fabric matches the colour of my rigs cutaway/reserve pillows and i would like to create some contrast.Any suggestions on how to do this [dye etc]without damaging the integrity of the pillows.Cheers Trig .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    I would wait a while and don't just limit your options to TSequipment.[Whatever you eventually decide to buy,your right in consulting with your instructor/rigger as to suitability.i.e harness size as well as type/size of main and reserve canopy[Final note try to buy a container that is freefly friendly even if you don't intend to take up freeflying [note: not the 2pin classic] .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    That really sucks!!!I recently took delivery of my new FFsuit made by a new company based in Empuria,Spain.The workmanship is the dogs and they offer plenty of options i.e cut,extra pockets etc etc.The companys name is SONIC AIRWARE and i honestly can't recommend there product enough...Not the cheapest of suits though,but you certainly get what you pay for. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    scared by the ground rushing, and it got me thinking that maybe i'm not immortal after all***Been ther done that!From what i've been told[i have v.limited experience under stillettos]is that they have very short recovery arc,compared to some other HP canopies. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

    I know someone who experienced a CYPRES save after they were knocked unconcious in freefall.She was wearing a frapp hat at the time and maybe a hard helmet would have helped in this situation. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
