There are so many moments I would love to relive for good or for bad but this one just popped in my head as one particular day i wish I could relive.... The day my mom got her american citizenship. She was like a kid!! She studied for months and months... Bill of rights, constitution, presidents, history, etc etc etc... She wanted it so bad. I remember it was the spring of 1992. I took the day off of school and went to San Francisco with my stepfather and my mother. We were dressed very well in suits, ties, the works! After she was sworn in we spent the rest of the day eating and drinking in celebration all over the city. I was very proud of her that day. It meant so much to her...

Congrats Liz and Zach, on your D license accomplishments!! Super duper!! So do we have a load or what? With the high pressure system moving across the north west this weekend we should have clear skies along the coast with light on shore breazes

It should not be hard to explain why there are weight limitations. Safety is number 1 and that is that. This sport is not about tempting fate or skirting death. Just a good healthy adrenaline rush. The gear can only handle so much weight. Tis unfortunate for larger people but it is what it is. Heavy people present more of a risk to instructors, more of a risk when landing and more of a risk of failure of the gear. Especially a main or reserve. It's sucky but people of certain proportions and weight may not ride this ride...

Hey hey sorry I didn't see this thread. Not to mention a polite "NO Paso Boogie Post" Well this year was just not the right year. Next year for sure. First off there was an air show this same weekend at the paso airport that would have hosed us. Also Skybytch moved to Florida and well TitaniumLegs's wife is having a baby and arrrgggh... It was to much to do on my own... I appologize... It will happen again. Until the next Paso event I'll just sit here sucking...

Yup I just got my first road bike too. They're tremendously fun. I had to wait so long in line at my local DMV that I had time to read the motorcycle handbook and drivers license handbook twice each... Got 100% on my Moto license test
