My stepfather is from Mobile Alabama. Well originaly he was. He hasn't been back in thirty years.... Just kidding although he does not go back often maybe twice in the past 15 years. I did happen to go out with him one summer to Mobile to visit his family and I had a great time. His familly lives down along the bay or that huge river that comes out in Mobile. I 3was younger and can't really remember the specifics. Beautiful area with all sorts of old confederate military bases. We caught lots of crab and catfish. Beautiful area. Though I couldn't help getting the feeling that everyones life dream was to get and an air conditioned patio...

This is not personally aimed at you Philly Kev but it's funny how people always say what kind of wine is better with this andd that and blah blah blah. I have always asked people when I used to run restaurants ~ What is your favorite wine? What do you want to eat tonight? Well then I tell them I think since they you like that and that, that the food and wine they just choose will be a perfect match for each other!! Though a Sauvingon Blanc would probably go better with a light white fish...

Well it entirely depends on what kind of mood you are in and what your plans are for the evening. Are you going out to a bar or restaurant? Are you staying home? With someone or without? Eating? I will say for the record that this decision makes me very very happy. I remeber going to school in Santa Barbara and whenever I came back from surfing I had to de-tar my surf board or cut clumps of tar out of my hair. It was because of the seepage from where the oil platforms had drilled into the ocean floor. Such beautiful coastline down south is fucked because of the off shore drilling down there. I can only hope that it never ever ever happens up here in the north. The Pacific coastline is so magical and beautiful, I do not want it to get f'ed up. I don't care what you say. I don't care the consequences. Don't drill off the coast here... Just my .02... I feel strongly enough about it that I would probably become extremely pissed off if drilling was allowed off the Nor Cal coast... Pissed off enough to probably get involved... But hey I still love to have a beer one of these days...

When I was a kid the first thing I wanted to be some some sort of pilot. Then I saw the movie Wall Street and wanted to be some high echelon executive type or a lawyer. Well I've mellowed out quite a bit and am not quite sure where I am heading at the moment.

Let us know when you're a little bit more sure about your plans and we'll take it from there. The LA area is all about Elsinore & Perris. In the middle and up north in Cali there seems to be too many DZ's to choose from. And all of them are good. And all that stuff Lisa said about coming up the coast n stuff... She's right...
