Jason threw himself under the bus by choice, he was SO HAPPY to be out of there. And seriously, Fantasia scared the shit out of me, I had to mute it and walk away. I missed simons face, thats priceless!

Thanks for the link, I've been meaning to dig this out myself, but haven't had the time. I spent extensive time in Sichuan last summer, about 100 miles from the epicenter, I'm pretty upset that this happened...

most of what I've eaten I've loved...not counting the duck intestine & locusts....pig's ear wasn't bad either, but it was a bitch to chew.

Great season! Although I would have liked to see Amanda win...I was a tad surprised when Parvati won. I think Amanda and Cirieplayed the best...and I agree, I wish Cirie had been in the final two, she really deserved to win, she was the brain behind a lot of the important plays. oh well...can't wait till next season!

you go crazy, thats how. haha I just graduated with my BA after a triumphant return to school. I thought it was a good idea to join honors too...which just aggrivated my schedule even more. If you have a flexible job, it makes the whole full time work & school thing much easier. But yeah, you spend all your freetime studying. Just keep focusing on your goals and good luck

that was halarious, it was hard stifling the laughs at work I've only got pictures of 2 of the kids....the 3rd isn't big on photo-ops!
-
I think he's been throwing his performances on purpose to get off the show....I like what he said last night "Somebody told me I shot the Tambourine Man!"
-
I like kickin it old school with my antenna that is straight out of 1985.

Yes....No Waterworks...it was great! seriously! I think he was in over his head, never expected to make it this far....

I've never seen anyone look so relieved and happy to leave American Idol

thats a bummer, he's definitely my favorite. I'd be pissed if I were him after Paula's flub, I'd want off too. I guess the sooner you go out the sooner you get out of your contract with them as well...

He is very easy on the eyes and I love his dreads, however he has made it known to the media that he is ready to go home and last night his performance showed it. I think tonight we will be saying bye bye to Jason I haven't been catching the media buzz, why does he want to go home? Sick of it? Very nice on the eyes...his studio performances are pretty awesome too, I actually put 2 of them on my ipod LOL but he's lost the spark he had, I wonder if he'll be the one to go home though...because of fans....

David Cook - he should win. His first song was a silly choice, but he blew us away with his second choice. He'll probably lose to the other David, such a shame. Syesha - She's a great performer, not top notch vocals, but I love her.! Jason - WTF. I love this kid, but seriously, are you joking? Terrible. Made me mad. Out of all the Marley songs you choose that, and then butcher it? I think he's just done with the show, I imagine they run you ragged. His middle performances this season were the best, I agree, I hope he records soon, I love his voice. David A - 2nd song was great, still can't stand this kid though. Randy needs to pull his head out of his ass, Stand By Me was on par with Sweet Caroline last week, good job butchering a great song. PS- has anyone seen anything with that Clay Aiken character lately? Seriously, WTF is wrong with that goofy lookin guy? He creeps me out.

One way to conquer fear is to fake it. If you pretend you are not scared by acting cool and like you are not scared that is how you will feel. Something I learned from Brian Germain. You may want to check out his book: Brian is actually the person that made me take the long door. I love him for it.

oooooh this is my area of expertise!!! Me and the door monster fought with eachother for weeks. The most helpful thing for me? In the 182, sitting student, taking a super long door. my instructor had me put my hands out in the air, play around, and had me force myself to smile through the entire experience. Creating postive vibes around the open door made a world of difference. I still had a bit of apprehension, so I did another long door and focused a ton on spotting, realizing that looking out of the door really wasn't the WORST THING EVER made the door monster go away.

I remember when that season was on, that Hicks had the southern vote nailed, he won EVERY week by a landslide. (apparently)

The poverty issue runs deeper than what you see though, it involves the hukou system,,,which I really don't want to get into...really burned out on it. Ask me again in a month
-
I think I would say something like "they believed that the villagers were not capable of elevating themselves or China as a whole." And just for discussion sake, when you say .5% poverty in urban areas, by what standard? Is that a local standard, or global, etc? Seems like there's an awful lot of poverty visible even in the cities (or what many by OUR standards would consider poverty). It's a citation I recieved from the World Bank...the official Chinese poverty line is $0.66 per person today, or the World Bank’s stricter $1 per day.

tell that to my advisor he doesn't like my word choice!
