dOOd....that is SO not kosher... A) That car was a raggedy piece of crap B) My night vision is not ideal, but I see fairly well - hence why I was driving slow; keeping my distance. C) I really never drive on LSD & am not familiar with that area. Edited to add: I never told you I got a little lost that night, after I droped you guys off....try not to laugh too hard... As a matter of fact, [I know you're sitting there laughing your ass off] bite me. Thanks to a certain few people here [cough-cough] talking about tires blowing out I am now somewhat afraid to drive the way I usually do. on the highway I now have to FORCE myself to stay behind someone to drive slower.... This is torture. BTW, say it was a nice sunny day out & you were on the expressway with all your windows rolled down - going the norm 80-90...is it weird to be think of freefall at that moment? Anyone else FEEL the ground ShAkE about an hour ago in the midwest??

I slept right through it too - woke up at 5:00 am, an hour after it had apparently happened. Up until today (we're moving the office) I worked in Arlington Heights...wish would of been kind of cool to be there when it happened; I never felt an earthquake before... Now, as far as the location - 5.4 on the scale is a big earthquake in any location, all the more in Illinois! So... I'm trying to figure out - what's the time change between you & I now? Colorado is Pacific time, 2 hours behind me, right? Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

I'm glad you got home safely!

The report read that it was being spotted for weeks......if that's the case, then the police could have lured it somehow, while waiting for animal control. Fuckers!! Btw, Roscoe village is only about 10-15 minutes away from my house - I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about this. Aaaaaw, DAMN! O.k. - all jokes aside, you do have a point. For whatever reason, I just find it difficult to not drive the way I do (there are times when I think I'm getting better about it though.) I also have no issue with the temptation when anyone is in the car with me. Sunny, you may not believe me, but I actually am a safe driver... It was Midnight when I left Hinckley; there was nobody on the road - if there was I wouldn't be going that fast, trust me. I always stay 3-3 & 1/2 carsas away from the next guy; & as for the constructions zone - there were just some cones to the left & right of the right & left lanes; I was in the middle. No worries.

I can manage to drive without glasses at night - BUT - prefer nit to. Last weekend, I was leaving the DZ at night (something I rarely ever do, actually it was the 1st time) Vs just staying for the night. Anyway, I was parked in the grass & couldn't see where the pathway to the road was (granted it was pitch black out; couldn't be any darker at all.) Then when I was on the highway a short time later & there was some construction going on, I found myself thinking: "hmmm...are those cones up there in my lane, or the 1 next to me ?" That's not something I want to second-guess at 80-90 miles an hour... Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

Oooops, sorry for the faulty memory on the script. You just jogged my memory, the left eye is -0.5 & the right is -1.0 (that being under the assumption that it hasn't gotten worse.) Thank you for that information; I never knew there was something like PPK, nor was I aware of its benefits over LASIK. About the part-time thing though; the doc I saw said to wear these corrective lenses full time - & at first, for like a year I was really good about it. Now however, they're constantly lost, or I just don't feel like wearing them I'm gonna stop doing that though. So what your saying is I should wait till it's worse to have the procedure done?... Fair enough. Edited to add: You asked how old i was, forgot to about that... Going on 27 at the end of July. I'm cool with having to pay for it out of pocket if insurance doesn't cover it - that's alright, it still needs to be done. What I am worried about is the need of health insurance for everything else. Obviously, I need it just like everyone else but am denied for the above reasons everywhere I go. I'm going to be buying supplemental from where I work, but still need regular coverage to go along with it. Yeah! Damn us for doing our jobs!!!! How did I know you were gonna pop up in here?.... Hiiiiiiii Valllllllll

Am thinking about having it done... Yes, I know to obviously get someone with experience & a good reputation, but the things is, despite all that - would you do it? I know a few of you are eye doctors; please chime in. Anyone who's gone through this - please let me know of your experience with it... Now that I started working again, I have to decide really quickly on whether to go through with or not as I am currently insured (but soon wont be, as soon as my 1st check comes in.) I only have a -1.0 in my right eye & a -0.2 in the left (at least that's what it was 18 months ago & I don't see any differently) so it's not like it's a big deal; but nonetheless I'm not good about wearing my glasses & don't like too. Another problem not related to the above is, as I said - now that i'm getting paid, my medicare coverage will be cut, leaving me without any insurance. No, I'm not a leach feeding off the system & will gladly pay for coverage if it was made available - problem is, I'm excluded everywhere except medicare because of the C.P. Obviously, for jumping, as well as other day-to-day things...I need health insurance! I may sell supplemental benefits - BUT - I don't understand how insurance companies work.. There are many other things riskier than jumping, & something else I could be excluded for, but not the C.P. What the hell?!... I hate actuaries & underwriters... (wish I didn't ) Nothing personal to anyone. Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of
