Not only that......but she also rocks!... It's been a year since I've got the bug & became somewhat involved in this sport, and since day 1 I have tried to get her as involved as possible - without having to take the leap of faith. In all my 27 years we've always been rather distant; I guess this is why I try to get her involved in the 1 thing I love so very much. Anyway, you would think that with a sport that involves jumping out of airplanes she would try to talk me out of it - & at 1st that's exactly what she did. She also said: "Meh...you'll do it once, shit yourself...& that will be the end of that." But right around tandem #2, & certainly right before my 1st trip to the tunnel, everyone knew that this was going to be a life-long adventure. Like most parents, she doesn't like the idea, but to my surprise she's been overwhelmingly supportive (& this is where her being a genius comes in.) I was on the livingroom floor practicing my arch; she could see that i was still frustrated, & said: "why don't you lay down in front of the sofa, grab it with your hands - being forced than to lift your arms, & as a result you'll stretch/arch your back that way. I'm guessing a month of that, at 5-10 minutes a day, 2x times a day & you'll be able to do it much better." I turned to her while laying there & just said: "I love you" with the biggest smile on my face.

As a few of you know, I plan on going to Colorado at the end of July-beginning of August; thing is, I can't make up my my mind on whether to drive or fly... Ideally, I'd like to drive - BUT - I don't know if I can get someone to go with me; although I could probably handle it myself - 12 hours a piece over 2 days, no biggie. I just think it would be a lot more fun - A) because I enjoy driving, & B) I'd get to see some of the country on my way. I plan on going for a week, to a week & 1/2. BUT - with gas prices being so high (we're up to $4.00/gal now) would you drive, or does it make more sense to fly? Also.....the expenses.......hotel, car rental (if I fly,) food, hotel an hour of tunnel time.......would $2k-$3k (max I'd spend) do it? No, I haven't - BUT - I'm glad alternitives to Paypal[crook] are starting to appear! E-bay (or GREED-bay as I prefer) has changed their policies on a few things....including tha fact that now Paypal can keep a buyers money from you for 3 weeks.
