Everyone loves their own jet. The KC-10, good though it is, is a fickle mistress and has to be maintained just *so* (we had 2 former -10 drivers in my intial qual class), whereas the 135 can pretty much be kept flying with some duct tape and a hammer. And sorry to call you out, but we CAN tank 130s, and helos receive gas from 130's modified with drougues. The best things in life are dangerous.

Just visiting, learning how to fly this plane. The best things in life are dangerous.

So close, but still not quite there. True that the Eagle is a big fighter.... But noone does what we do. ...burn holes in the sky turning jet fuel into noise? Kidding! Sorry, I had to do it! The best things in life are dangerous.

Done, good luck with your survey! The best things in life are dangerous.

Human trafficking is illegal, Mike. Didn't you learn anything in your pre-deployment training?!? The best things in life are dangerous.

Oh good lord, i can't stand it anymore. The word you're looking for is "T - H - E" It isn't difficult to spell. The definition is easy to find. Please, please, for the love of all things sacred and holy, please get this one word right, you're embarrassing yourself. The best things in life are dangerous.

4.2 primary, and 2 hours jump. The pattern work was pretty exhausting! The best things in life are dangerous.

Since it was my first ride, they made me do a "boom appreciation exercise." I got to do the manual boom retraction, which was fine until the last 12-15 pumps on the handle. I was beat by the time the boom was up! The best things in life are dangerous.

Correction, sir. The Eagle is still a BIG plane! Well, at least compared to anything else that does the same job. The best things in life are dangerous.

Congrats! It only gets better...and unfortunately, more expensive. The best things in life are dangerous.

Heh! Maybe my retirement flight will be on the new tanker, but I'm not about to bet the farm on it. The best things in life are dangerous.

First ride for one of my buddies, as well! The best things in life are dangerous.

Had my first ride in the mighty KC-135 yesterday. Flying planes is fun, but flying big planes is more fun!

That just might be the smartest thing I've heard all year. The best things in life are dangerous.

Meh, it's ok, but mostly what I saw was a frightful waste of ammunition. You can't hit anything shooting full auto! The best things in life are dangerous.

If I saw someone marshalling my plane in with a couple of those, I just might soil my flight suit! The best things in life are dangerous.

I don't have my concealed carry permit yet, but when I do get it, I'm very fond of Glock and H&K.

Yup! It will get you where you want to go, but it's not meant to be consumed like that. Like you said, it's like wine. Savor it, and it's great stuff! I'm about to crack open a can of Perry. Ever heard of it? The best things in life are dangerous.

la Divine, and also a bottle of Amadeus Blanche. Both pretty underwhelming, but I guess that's because the French don't do beer! The best things in life are dangerous.

Best: Earning my wings after working my ass off for them for over a year, lots of incredible memories with some amazing pilots, both instructors and fellow students. Getting a fantastic assignment out of pilot training. Sharings lots of beers, a couple of skydives, and a few cigars with my brother and his friends when we both got some time to hang out before he deployed. Too many other great hilights to mention here! Worst: Thinking I knew it all, and getting humbled quite a few times. The best things in life are dangerous.
