Child abuse cover ups - it's not just for Catholics anymore.
DFWAJG replied to jakee's topic in Speakers Corner
You're the first one to bring up the details, and they are obviously bogus. Fake stats like those just muddy the waters and harm your cause. That would be an incredibly bad way to try and collect meaningful information. These statistics are NOT bogus. the education of america and the world is Bogus. Do you know how Freud ended up with his Electra/Oedpis theories? Initially, he reported that his patients had been sexually abused as children. The public was outraged, so he changed his theory that the children "fantasized" about having sex with their father's, mothers. If child molestation is so rare, than why have I been abused by three family members, my mother was abused by an adult neighbor (she was 5 years old), and my Great Grandmother was having sex with her thirteen year old son? Does that sound rare to you? Child molestation is not uncommon. It is very common. Last year, I had my own practice (psyciatry). of my 60 regular patients, about 90% had been molested at a young age. In all of my years of training, most of my patients have been molested. This information is not fake. Just do a google search for statistics on child molestation. you'll come up with many reliable sources with similar stats. Contact your local women's shelter, or rape centers, and ask them for literature on statics. You're in for an eye-opening experience. I have been studying the subject since I was 18. I am now 38. So for 20 years, I've been looking at the data. It hasn't changed much. But don't believe me, my having a medical and degree and 6 and half years of post graduate training in family practice and psychiatry. or someone who has an interest in forensic psychiatry and has been working in the California Department of corrections, who sees child molesters 5 days a week. Don't believe me. Here are two sources for you: Medical Evaluation of Suspected Child Abuse Carole Jenny, MBA, MD Children's Hospital 1056 E. l9th Ave., Mail Stop B 138 Denver CO 80218 303-861-6919 Martin Finkel, DO UMDNJ 301 S. Central Plaza, Laurel Rd., #2100 Stratford NJ 08084 609-346-7032 Call these experts and ask them about the stats. the latter was my mentor in med school. It's because of people who don't want to learn about how common this heinous crime to children is, that the abuse continues. I challenge you to challenge me on the stats. Prove me wrong. I would love it if you do. Because that would mean that you actually did have an interest in learning something about this topic. Good luck. -
Sex offender registration...always appropriate?

Interestingly, Douva, many of these people with indecent exposure charges, also have histories of other sex offenses. -
go to this site http://promdress.net/ The site is dedicated to everything prom. Richard Calo, the organizer of the site, wrote a book "the original first book of prom" you can order it there. the book is very good. It is full of stories about how the person was asked, what their prom was like, etc, etc.

The average child would need to be molested multiple times for your stats to make sense. Btw, I had three offenders, all from my home. two, my brothers prior to age 5. (5 years and 7 years older) My stepfather, beginning at about age 9 with oral copulation beginning at age 13. If you really want to challenge the statistics, why don't you do a survey in the women's forum. -

Don't get too caught up in the details. Child molestation and crimes on children is way under-reported. The point is that these crimes are common. So, if you are a teacher, or a doctor, or are somehow involved with children, and you don't know any of whom who have been offended, then you haven't opened your eyes and you really don't know these kids. -

I hardly think it should be a label he should carry for decades...he was 13, she 9. Instead of looking at age difference, (4 years) think of it in terms of school grades. A thirteen year old is in teh 8th grade (almost in high school). A nine year old is in the 4th grade. think about what you were like and how mature you were and then tell me whether or not the nine year old is responsible. In addition, there is a VERY HIGH recidivism rate of sex offending when the sex offender starts as a child. I am a psychiatrist at a level 4 SNY (sensitive needs yard) prison. of 185 men in my building, 90% are child molesters. During our interviews, many have revealed that they started offending at very young ages. One of them has said that at age 7, he knew he was a child molester. He was offending toddlers at age 7. -
They're not BAD owners. He jumps a 6' fence. The highest fence you can have in our area. solution: www.dogwatch.com

What I find interesting is the attitude of inmates towards sex offenders. they are the lowest of the low among criminals. and, there are levels of low among the molesters themselves. the lowest among inmates are fathers who molest their biological children, next are those that molest any child period, then it's rapist of adults, then those who expose themselves. I overheard an inmate once talking to another inmate who said "10 years ago, you could kill one of those fucking child molesters and you'd just get a year in the SHU. Now, if you so much as slap one, you'll get another strike." -

The American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law has adopted an interesting solution. Rather than register, warn, reregister, etc, have a community for sex offenders. It would be a hell of a lot less expensive and would keep sex offenders from entering our neighborhoods. here's how it would work. Get a big piece of land, Liken it to a "reservation" and have each member wear a bracelet. anyone can enter through the community, but the sex offenders cannot leave. currently in several states, and in California, sex offenders (which includes child molesters, rapists, and those that expose themselves) undergo a psychiatric evaluation prior to parole. If deemed a further danger, sex offenders can be held for another 45 days and if considered an MDO, (mentally disordered offender) can be place in a forensic hospital a fulfill their parole there. -
Absolutely, and the woman should receive it first and orgasm at least twice before the guy gets anything. it's the noble thing to do.

QuoteI hate hearing people say "I'm proud of you for ...." You can't be proud of someone else or their accomplishments. You can admire them of course, but pride is a state that's directed inward. The proper phrase is, "I admire you for ...." http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=pride&word2=admiration sorry, I couldn't help myself

I seldom speak like this but I will make an exception. Don't tell me what the fuck to do. In addition to always having Venison, grouse and other wild game in my freezer, I don't even buy my beef from the supermarket! Yuck! We go in on a whole cow with my inlaws and the meat is superb. We have another order in right now. I don't even buy hamburger from the grocery store. If we run out I have a grinder to make more out of other cuts of Venison or Beef. I also make my own summer sausage, snack sticks, and jerky. All smoked with the exception of some unsmoked jerky for my Wife. I will kill and eat what I want with complete disregard to your thoughts. Or mabey not. I've had a change of heart. I will harvest one more deer than normal next year just for you. Send address if you want any for you efforts. Thanks If anything, I would think by hunting for your food, you would have more respect for what you hunt. it's easy to overlook what actually happens in slaughterhouses when you buy your non-grass fed, non-organic meat at the stop & shop. If you lower the demand for this type of eats, you'll raise the demand for higher quality food, and better conditions for the animals on your table.
