  1. Here's my favorite version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wskT6YfVB6E
  2. Not quite the rest of the world Kreg, there quite a few places that drive on the same side of the road as the brits do
  3. This is stupid. What would stop someone from jumping into the net and then crawling to the edge of the net and jumping again from there if they really wanted to? Many survivors of these types of attempts have said that the moment their hands let go of the bridge, they regreted their decision. A net would allow those that have regreted the decision to commit suicide a second chance to live their lives. And do you really think people would still try to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge knowing there was a net in place? I think not. They will just try to find some other way to off themselves. I think the the whole net idea is a waste of time and money. unfortunately, not having any deterance has wasted a lot of lives. Average is about 25 per year.

  6. I have spent the last three hours booking and canceling flights with Useless (US) airlines and United, as neither can figure out how to ship two dogs and their owner across the country. Sheesh! Finally, I said "fuck it, I'm going with continental!" and after a fiv minute phone call and a little typing on Orbitz, I'm on my way, first class, to the east coast with both pups in the belly of the plane. We are coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Yup, my Patty Cake ate a pound of Russell Stover's once. It didn't bother her a bit. I do keep both of my dogs away from the raw cacao, though. I don't want to take my chances.
  8. Everytime I see her on TV, I think "Not that bitch again."
  9. Even if the cars were going 40 mph, they could have hit him.
  10. Honestly, though, what are you supposed to do? Lock your kid in their room every time you have to go to the bathroom? Did you never not listen to your parents as a kid? No, while I was excessively disciplined as a kid, I minded my parents with almost everything they said. I would never have snuck out at night. Sneaking out of the house shows, to me, a lack of respect for his parents. Likely, the street went both ways on this. They could use parenting skills. Good point, and I agree. That kid likely was not afraid of his mom. Therefore no respect. Fear, No. Children shouldn't fear their parents, but know that they have been shown love and are capable of trusting what their parents say. While I'm just speculating, I doubt this is the first time this kid has snuck our of the house.

I've already been to M'Elsinore. Nice peeps. I've jumped from two of Perris' planes but not a Perris yet. So, It's P's & SD's turn. Lisa, wanna get some RAw VEgan Food Wednesday night? pm me your digits and we can go to Au Lac for some non-cow food.
  13. I second that. That looks like a major road. A 10 year old little boy should not be out at NIGHT by himself riding his bike on a major road. The parents are surely negligent about having their child out past dark like this.

Ok, so funny story about kid a nekkidness. So, I just graduated IAF and was a bit euphoric and wanted to streak. I went to the Great Hall, got naked and ran for it across the landing area. Jumpers were landing around me, every one cheering, and some busted egos because, while Dr. Groove thought the cheering was for his great swoop, someone else pointed out "naked chick." And, Dr. Groove's little heart was broken. But, he thought I had "nice tits." While I was running toward the school, ARmy Mike pondered, "I wonder if Dawnmarie is aware there is an 8 year old little boy with his dad by the picnic tables." As I ran toward them, he said, "Nope, guess not." As I was running to the bathroom, I saw an 8 year old boy with his dad's hands covering his eyes, and the little boy struggling to peek under. He succeeded. My nudity will be forever in that little kids brain.

Oh, Quade, I'm not at all modest. I like to get naked. AFter I graduated IAF, I ran around the landing area at The RAnch. I'm just concerned about landing off naked, and having a cop see me. But, if the landing area is big enough, just maybe we can get together a naked dive.

Why thank you Quade. So, a nekkid skydive..hmmmm haven't done one yet. I'm a little concerned about landing off and getting picked up by the police, then having to register for exposure. but, I may live dangerously this weekend.

I'm coming down to Perris to jump Thursday and Friday, then off to San Diego to jump Saturday and Sunday. I want to pack for appropriate weather. Do I need insulated undies at altitude or can I get away with my capri pants and a t-shirt under my jumpsuit. Wunderground predicts 68-80 degree weather. But they are not always trustworthy of accurate weather forecasts. Thanks for the help! dm
  19. What Krisanne said is perfect. You can also find some excellent books on interviewing at Barnes & Noble. When I interviewed for residency, I found a book Getting Into A Residency which listed a bunch of common interview questions. I sat down and wrote all of my answers in the most positive way possible. Then I had a practice interview with our dean. I did very well on my interviews and matched to my first choice program. So, like Krisanne said, get a list of common questions, write down your answers and practice, and ALWAYS have questions for them at the end of the interview.
  20. I don't care what everyone else says, I think your pumpkins look great!
  21. Wow, I want to be that chick!
  22. Getting married would not prevent child molesters from molesting children. They would just have access to their own children. http://www.psychohistory.com/htm/06a1_incest.html
