  1. Kids. The early years are pretty self explanatory.. Stuff goes in one end, Comes out the other. (Oh and the weight the diapers are rated is grossly exaggerated.. 6 to 9 Lb diapers will not hold anywhere near that much.) It is when they hit about 13 and all the cute has wore off that they really should come with an instruction book.. if for no other reason than something to smack their bottoms with. By 16 or 17..A Translation guide is an absolute must (Although it wont really matter because they still will not listen no matter what language you try to use and even if they did, you are wrong anyway.)
  2. Feedback is optional. I buy (and occasionally sell) a good bit on ebay. There are many times when I do not leave feedback. If a SELLER requires that I leave Feedback before they will give me feedback.. I will not bother at all. I feel that as a BUYER, I pay and then they ship.. They should leave feedback first as my obligations are met first (Send the money in a timely manner). If they refuse to do that, no matter how smoothly the transaction goes, I will not leave feedback at all for them (Unless it does not go smoothly, in which case I will always leave neutral or negative). Other time, Like around Christmas when I buy a lot of smaller items off ebay.. I just dont have time to (or care to) leave feedback.
  3. It was Pudding. Chocolate Pudding… And she looks good wearing poker chips too. Welcome back Jean. (even if you are now Tainted)
  4. She has Boobies. The rest is pretty esay to get after that at most DZ`s I have been too.
  5. Cant make the Boogie next weekend. I have a College Reunion that weekend.. Normally I would cancel on it for somthing big as a Roaming DZ event but since I am the one organizing the reunion I kinda have to go. Now.. St. Patties Day weekend?? I would be there. (And I Know that I just Broke Spences first rule of Boggie Threads.. Posting that I will NOT be there... I may try to make up some jello shots and send them with my brother if I have time between now and then)
  6. Florida (Rumor has it I actually made a few jumps down there... At a Boogie even... From Altitude.. With other people!!). Cant make the Boogie next weekend. I have a College Reunion that weekend.. Normally I would cancel on it for somthing big as a Roaming DZ event but since I am the one organizing the reunion I kinda have to go. Now.. St. Patties Day weekend?? I would be there.
  7. if the new corporate masters wanted to double the revenue from this site, They should add a "pay per peek" option for the recycle bin.
  8. I just downsized from my Pilot 188 (1.2 to 1) and yes, Riser pressure was very high on that canopy. It is my understanding that most larger Pilots (when lightly loaded) have very high riser pressure. I just downsized from the Pilot 188 to a Safire2 169, The biggest difference is how easy it is play with the risers on the Safire. I also Jumped a Safire 189 Demo before ordering my 169. The Pilot 188 and the Safire 189 at the exact same wing loading.. Big difference in riser pressure (especially the rears). Same great opening on both Canopies. I loved my Pilot but Front Riser Turns was just one thing that that canopy didn’t do. I could grab my Dive Loops and do Pull ups all day long and the riser would not budge. If I went to half Brakes and then Tried to pull down the fronts, I could hold them about a quarter of a turn before the pressure was just high again. The Safire2 (189 and 169) I could do a full 360`s (Up high of course) using the front risers. My guess it is also canopy design and canopy trim to some degree (along with WL and other fators).
  9. 1) Vegas in Early Febuary 2) Costa Rica in Late Febuary 3) Skyfest (Raeford, NC) June 15-22 4) Lost Prairie (Montana) July 25-Aug 3 5) Vegas again a couple more times during the year.
  10. Does any of that really matter? My House and most likely yours too was built on land Occupied by Native Americans for 1000`s of years before the Europeans showed up and took it away. What would do if Tonto showed up and demanded his land back? Is it yours or is it theirs? All of this "We were here first" and "This land is rightfully ours" crap from both sides is just that. Crap. Just keep in mind, There is an election coming up in Isreal. The Moderates in office were behind in the polls.
  11. Good point. Edit: This really isnt a bad Plan... I mean you guys already have most of south florida (With the the exception of the Cuban parts)anyway. Might as well give you Cuba too.
  12. Do you have any idea what that would do to the price of a good cigar?
  13. I respectfully disagree. No one can beat an RSL. When a second or two matters (Like Chopping at 800 feet) an RSL CAN possibly pull the pin quicker than you could. And you are correct, Either of the first two fatalities could have been avoided if the jumpers Pulled both handles themselves. But for some reason that we will never know, They did not. Couldn’t find the handle? Clothes in the way? Felt they HAD to get stable before they pulled the reserve? We don’t know. All I know is that an RSL most likely would have made the difference in at least two of the three and the third it MIGHT have a Difference. (Yes, Pulling both handles quicker would have also made a difference but for some unknown reason, That didn’t happen. (Actually I believe that all 3 did pull both handles, just not soon enough) A very experience Jumper this past weekend also mentioned something relevant here. I was having some problems with a brand new canopy that I just got and asked them to jump it for me to see if it was just me or was there really an issue with the canopy. When he put on my Rig, I mentioned that it had an RSL (In case he was Anti-RSL so that he could disconnect it). He said basically that if he had a problem and didn’t have the time (Too Low) to pull the RSL disconnect, Then he most likely needed the RSL. I think RSL`s are a good idea in MOST scenarios. I also firmly believe that you do NOT count on it and pull both handles. Altitude Awareness and pulling both handles first and foremost but if you fucked that up somehow an RSL might let you live and learn.
  14. That would HAVE to be the two IE guys. EDIT: and they'd prefer it if you threw that manual away anyway... Naaaa. The IE`s are too freeking lazy to break things. They prefer to watch others break things and then make suggestion on how they can improve the process. It is the PE that you have to keep away from things (Especially the Clients). Last time we let him near a Manual, He wrote a 10 page letter back to manufacturer correcting their mistakes. Now I just throw all manuals away. It really helps productivity.
  15. Everyone has an opinion on this. In my Time in this sport, I have personally witnessed 6 Fatalities first hand, 3 would have most likely walked away if they had an RSL (The others were Canopy Collision). The first Fatality I ever witnessed, the guy chopped a Spinning main, Turned to get stable and the reserve came out about treetop level. He had over 4000 jumps if I remember correctly. A few days later I watched someone with under 200 jumps do the exact same thing. I truly believe that Both would have walked away without a scratch if they had an RSL. The most resent fatality I witnessed is more questionable as the chop was around 800 feet estimated (Self induced line twists at a low altitude).. But an RSL had a chance, With no RSL, He did not. I do not doubt that there are a few Fatalities caused by RSL`s but I think the RSL`s have saved way more. I look at it like this, I at least have a Chance of Kicking out of line twist on my reserve. I have NO chance of Kicking out of the dirt without a Reserve. And I still firmly believe in Pulling BOTH handles no matter what.
  16. Never said either side was particularly smart and Neither side is justified. Both are wrong and will only lead to more violence. Peace in the middle east is a pipedream. It will never happen. (But I sure do hope someday they will prove me wrong)
  17. I am right there with you. Looks like I will be buying the Sonicwall. Thanks everyone. I just have to remember to throw away the manual after I set it up to keep my guys from "trying to Improve it" once it comes in.
  18. If your homeland was invaded and occupied, Would you use Gorilla Tactics against the invaders? Amazing how we can watch a Movie like wolverines and cheer the Kids fighting back yet at the same time see a group doing the same thing and call them cowards. I think Both sides are at fault on this and do not see anyway that there will ever be peace in that area as long as Both Israelis and Palestinians live there. BOTH groups have committed horrible atrocities against each other. Neither side is justified in my opinion. We only get the filtered and heavily biased versions here. Innocent people are dying (On both sides). That is sad no matter who they call God.
  19. Do you honestly think that either side would ever let that happen?
  20. the BBC series was amusing and followed the books fairly well. The Movie did not. If Low Budget Cheesy Sci-fi is what you want, Then DONT PANIC, Grab a Towel and Mix up a Pangalactic Gargle Blaster and veg away..
  21. If you do not agree that it is the best Sci-fi series ever, I will Pay for all the Beer you bring him during the marathon.
  22. I personally would like to see the entire area (Not just Gaza, ALL of it) uninhabitable for about 50 years. There have been atrocities committed by both sides for so long now. We do get a VERY biased view of what is really happening over there. I don’t see either side as RIGHT nor do I think they will ever live in peace. Too many WRONGS on bothsides. Clear it all out.
  23. Get the Firefly TV series if you dont already have it. Best Sci-Fi series ever. It was crime that it got canceled after only one season.
  24. My brother and I will at Zhills Tomorrow Night till Friday Morning(and then Heading over to Sebastian for the weekend.) Introduce yourself if you see me running around.
