I just did this a Couple weeks ago. Details here A couple tips if you do work up the BALLS... 1. Check with the DZO first. ( I did and the DZO asked me land away from the main landing area in a field that was blocked by a Hangar. No problem there and I still had quite a crowd waiting for me there when I landed). 2. Get Nekkid, Put on Rig, Put on Loose shorts over Leg Straps for the walk to the plane. Once you get above 1000 ft, take off the shorts and see if someone will stuff them in their Jumpsuit for you. 3. Its COLD at Altitude. Shrinkage Happens!! 4. Flying Nekkid is different. Everything seems to happen a little slower. Turns and Tracking seem to take forever to get started. 5. Double check the spot. You DO NOT want to be landing Off.

Goto ad/remove software in the control panel and uninstall anything that you do not know what it is. Then Run MSCONFIG. (Start, Run, Type in MSCONFIG) (May not work for NT based Operating Systems) This will allow you to control what is loaded at startup. There are several Utilities you can get from Downloads.com. I have used Ace Utilities 2.5 before and found it VERY useful. You can download a functional 30 day trial free. Finally, Run Adaware and remove all the spyware.

It is not the DZO`s fault in most cases. Look at the price of Fuel. If anything the DZO`s have been taking a Beating trying to Keep the cost of Jump Tickets down while their Costs have been skyrocketing. These outrageous Fuel Prices are driving up the costs of everything. And yes, People are going to Jump less, Because they will have less money.

You think we can talk Sandor into Hosting a 4 way Cat chasing meet as well?? Cat chasing, for those of you who don't know, is the sport of cramming about eight skydivers and one cat into an airplane. When you get to 10,000 feet you toss the cat out. The skydivers then pile out and go after the cat. Whoever lands with the cat is the winner. (Dont worry, The cat always lands on its feet. And we can strap a ProTrack on the Cat so that we can finally get an actual answer to the Terminal Velocity of a Cat question that has been debated forever.) What do you think?? Anyone have a Cat (Or two in case we loose one) we can borrow?

I personally think that whether or not they are a Skydiver (although a Jumper would be better) is the criteria you should use... I think your main considerations should be can they make great Jello Shots, How good do they look wearing just a Tucan and are they handy with a Paint Brush and Liquid Latex!!

This was one of the funniest Radio Shows I have ever listened to. From Neil Boortz: Let's go back about 14 years. I was working at a much smaller radio station then and wasn't syndicated. I told my listeners that I had learned of an interesting competition that was going to take place "at an airport south of Atlanta." It was the Georgia Cat Chasing Championships. The purpose was to choose a champion to send to the national contest a month later. Cat chasing, for those of you who don't know, is the sport of cramming about eight skydivers and one cat into an airplane. When you get to 10,000 feet you toss the cat out. The skydivers then pile out and go after the cat. Whoever lands with the cat is the winner. To make a long story short … we spent about four weeks promoting the show. I had guests come by for quick appearances. Past champions, judges, sponsors and contestants. On the day of the "competition" we did a "live" remote broadcast. I sat in the studio with a cast of about five people and about 60 sound effects. We had crowd noise, helicopters, the sounds of screaming cats, airplanes, parachutes opening, wind noise … you name it. We had a chain saw used to get a cat out of a tree. We had the sound of an uncaught cat falling through the air. Let me tell you, we gave the audience one helluva show. We had county sheriffs all over South Georgia rushing to their local airports afraid that this competition was going on in their jurisdictions. What fun we had! At the end of the show we told those listeners who hadn't figured things out that it was all a spoof. We then produced a tape of the show and sold it for $10 a hit. The total proceeds went to the Fund for Animals. We raised thousands. Well – we didn't go to quite the same lengths yesterday. All I did was mention the contest and my participation. Amazingly – many people bought it. Here's the latest e-mail tally as of 6:00 a.m.: E-mails telling me they laughed their butts off: 239 E-mails telling me they would never listen to my show again: 67 E-mails telling me they were going to call all my sponsors and organize boycotts: 21 E-mails from affiliate station managers telling me they were getting demands that my show be dropped: 2 E-mails from cat-haters who wished the whole story was true: 5

Do you have some kind of Exclusive rights on your campus? Sounds like Free market economy at work to me. I dislike Skyride and their Deceptive tactics as much as anyone... However, No one has Exclusive Marketing Rights to any area. Competition is good. Choice is good. I hear people complaining about one DZ drawing business from another DZ`s territory and I just don’t get that. As long as they are being HONEST, it is a free country! I understand that this hurts the small DZ but there is nothing wrong with two different people or organization operating in the same area, Especially if it is just for a weekend.

Out a the 207?? I thought it only took 7 Jumpers!! Sandor is going to be pissed if Jess comes out with us and makes it an 8 way. Toga. Toga. Toga. Hmmmm.. Now how were can I find that Caligula outfit....

Rome... The DZ that just flat out refuses to die!! That DZO just will not give up!! Now be quiet about all that stuff at the Rome DZ.. If people find out, We might have to start waiting to get on a load. And I love going to a DZ where there are more Female Jumpers than Male. Sandor actually flew up to Tullahoma Saturday night to show off his new toy. The new plane looks good. I should be out there on Sunday to get in a few jumps. I promise not to bring the Tucan!!

Thanks!! Great meeting you this weekend. The Daffy Duck Dive!! The latch on my Z1 broke on that jump and I spent most of the dive trying to close the face shield and keep it closed. The dreaded Helmet malfunction/Zoo/Combat RW jump. I would love to get a copy of that Vid (and then please destroy the evidence from that jump!!)..

What a Weekend!! The Chris Martin memorial Boogie was quite a event. Mullins providing the fast Plane, The Carbones providing the Great Food, Peanut and Lucky (My #1 Hottie!!) providing the typical Boogie maddness and Beazy Shaw making sure everything went smooth it couldnt have been a better weekend. Tullahoma is a great DZ and I cant wait untill they running full time again. I finally got to make my 100th. I won 30 minutes of Tunnel Time in the raffel. I got pied by some of the coolest people on the planet (Twice in one night even) ***WARNING*** The attached Pic is NSFW!! (or for anywhere or anyone actually!!) And Yes.. It is hard to fly without a Jump suit!!

Worked as a Heavy Equipment Rigger for a while (Moving Massive Machines).. We would always send the new guy for a Sky Hook. Also the ever popular Bucket of Steam.. But my favorite: I was changing out the transmission in a Honda with a friend. His Girl Friend was going back and forth to the parts store for us. After the third trip.. She said that was it. She wasn’t going back again!! Well we begged and pleaded saying that we promised this would be the last time. She finally agreed, so we sent her after the Muffler bearings and Antifreeze Filter for the Honda we were working on. She was not amused when she went back to the same parts store and asked for the parts and everyone there Fell out laughing.

Ummmm.. Wonder if she sells pull up cords??

I used to live in Doraville.. But that was 10 years ago. Doraville is not that bad but brush up on your Kanji and spanish. It is a predominately Asian area on one side and Hispanic on the other. I loved living there. I also lived in Norcross at one point. It was a much nicer area.
