    http://www.alta.com/ Alta and Snowbird are Side by Side.. (Snowbird allows those pesky Boarders) You can get one pass for both Resorts But Personally I usually just stay with Alta. Snowbird does have alot more Double Blacks if that is your thing but Alta has plenty of Challenging slopes as well. the Slopes at Alta have been perfectly groomed and the lightest Dryest Powder I have ever seen everytime I have been there. I love that mountain. Slopes are exactly 33 miles from the airport. Rent a Car, Find a Cheap place to stay just outside of SLC on the way to the slopes, Buy just the Alta Lift Ticket (About $50 a day) and have Fun.

    Ski or Board?? If Ski... Salt Lake definately!! Head up to Alta. Best Skiing in the world in my opinion.. And best part is they dont even allow Boarders on the slopes at all thus helping keep the slopes in better condition. Alta would meet all your requirements excpt for maybe Affordable place to stay.. If you are renting a Car, Just stay off mountian somewhere and dont worry about it.

    (Yep.. SC Bound, Never to be seen by me again as there are some places that are just too sleazy for even me to visit!) Absofuckinlootly!!! Empty the Clip and then throw the spent gun at the corpse for good measure. Someone trying to take me captive (Against my will) clearly tends to do me harm. This whole "Just try to wound them and/or disable them" is crap. Stop them and make sure that there is no way they can ever possibly do it again. Remove them from the gene pool completely and throughly as possible.

    One more time... How is this any different that the Echostar-Directv merger that the FCC blocked a couple years ago. All the exact same arguments for and against it and it was unanimously Blocked by the FCC for anti-Trust. Why do you think this will be different?

    Same argement that was made for the Sattellite TV merger a few years ago.. In fact in their case they claim the real competition was Cable not even each other. didnt work then. Quoted straight from the article linked.., "The merger would require regulatory approval as well as anti-trust scrutiny. Kevin Martin, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, reportedly said last month that a merger could not be approved under current FCC regulations." Sounds like this one has a ways to go before it really happens.

    I remember something about EchoStar (Dish Network)and Directv trying to Merge a few years ago and I think Anti-trust is what stopped them. How is this going to be different??
