    I've jumped from too many different aircraft during my skydiving infancy. I like the Casa because I can actually stand up, the exit is fun, and there's plenty of time to take a nap on the way up (yes, I like to snooze). I like the Otter because it is fairly speedy and has an average door. Benches are a must though. So far I've tried Grand Caravan, PAC-750XL, Beech 99, King Air (Mullen's), Twin Otter, Casa, and 182. The only airplanes that I still want to jump are the Skyvan and DC3. Of course a balloon jump is on my wish list too.

    I was told last month that they thought it might be done before the SkyFest event in June. Not sure if they knew the start date then, I would imagine it would be if they broke ground yesterday?? Sounds like it will be a nice one? Does that mean, in the spirit of things, we could do water-training before the first load...or after the last load? ...or during the SCR ceremony?     Kevlar or a Kevlar/CF hybrid would be nice. Much stronger than CF in compression. Essentially the same idea behind an auto air-bag? Why not foam/air cells much like those inside football helmets. They could be designed to "fail" at a certain pressure level and decelerate the head, albeit only for 1 inch.     If you're in the states or planning to go through a USPA AFF course, there is one thing that you should definitely do.
