There are differences!!!! There are swooping courses…..there are firearm courses. There is NO gear catching courses. A 3 paragraph online gear catching seminar coming from a high jump number / moderator / insturctor just didnt settle well with me...period! I KNOW Bill had NO bad intent posting what he did. The issue I see here is that we ALL must remember our audience while posting here ““look at some of the jump numbers on the poster profiles”””. They (these kids) read this stuff and run with it...BAD>>>BAD>>>BAD Nate was one of my favorite people to watch under canopy “as well as in the air”…He was damn good! In this case Nate took an “informed risk”….note INFORMED! He knew well and good it was dangerous. Nate himself only weeks ago yelled (well ok not yelled….he never yelled at anyone)…..scolded another jumper for orbiting around a cut-away main “geez”. Nate DID NOT ENCOURAGE THIS PRACTICE TO ANYONE. My point here is even one of our best Canopy Pilots did not survive doing this. Its just not even worth discussing “good way…bad way! Someone earlier nailed it talking about what a wonderful job our 3-ring release system does for us why ruin it! Nuff Said From Me! Tami natenkatieweloveu

Hello Lauren, This will be my first visit to the Dropzone. I am flying up from Georgia with the Otter. My friends Darren and Laura are running the place and they are awesome!!!! Its been open for several months and I have been hearing lots of good stuff from Darren and Laura. They have a 205 on site full time. We are also gonna take a king air up there as early as next week (so full time King Air). I would love to meet you so why dont you stop by Its gonna be a fun weekend.....I actually grew up only about 20 miles from the DZ in Easton and I havent been home to see my friends and family in about 10 years!!! Needless to say they are all coming out on Saturday to watch the CRAZY poeple "as they put it"!! Come on out and play chicky !!! Tami

Check it out.....its a new Dropzone near Allentown Pennsylvania and we are having our first boogie this weekend. July 2nd -- 5th We will have a Super Otter there this weekend (I am flying up with it) I would love to see some the old herd members out there. Lets get some kickass belly loads up people!! Baxter will give basic ground training as well as jump with you for those interested in skydiving in a BirdMan suit. - Sunrise Rigging will be onsite with demo Wings containers. Students and those renting gear may have had a chance in the past to jump our rental Wings container. Those interested in seeing what else the company has to offer as well as the latest features on Wings should come on by. Demo rigs with canopies will be available. Agreed Patrick...here is another scenario: I just had a very welcomed phone call from a DZ in Switzerland! A member of our staff was there visiting and wanted to make a jump. The DZM would NOT let him jump because he was jumping a VERY small canopy. The DZM called and wanted verification that he was proficient jumping such a small canopy and wanted a snapshot of his jumper ledger / currency. HATS OFF TO THAT DZ!!!! Tami
