  2. That's horrible! Wow, I'm speechless. That girl needs serious help. . . .
  3. Here's mine. It keeps track of accumulated time, and jump numbers automatically. And is configurable to keep track of the kinds of jumps that you've done so that you can have a quick reference at the top of the sheet of how many camera, freefly, rw, etc, jumps that you've done. The "jump No." and "Total Time to Date" columns will update automatically, as you fill in the other columns for each jump.
  4. I recently bought a new system, for the primary purpose of being able to edit video on it. I chose to go with a dual core, because there's a LOT more power there, and more and more applications are starting to support it. It's the future and I wanted a computer that would last a while. Premiere Pro 1, 1.5, and 2.0 will all work on a dual core system. It's just that 2.0 will definately work the best. That being said, I went with AMD because as of lately they've been the innovator in 64bit and dual core technology with Intel playing copycat in order to stay competitive. AMD is also a bit cheaper. I ended up with an Athelon X2 3800, bulked up on RAM: 2.5gb, a decent GPU: ATI x1600 Pro 256mb, and a 250gb harddrive. When I need more storage, I will probably get an external HD and plug it into my firewire. I built my system from scratch, pretty much, and the only real issues I have faced have been as a result of that, none of them were major issues. It's running very smoothly for me at this point. It was a great way to spend a tax refund. It's great to be able to shuffle through video and sequences with ABSOLUTELY no noticeable slowdown in Premiere's abitity to render it.
  5. My understanding is that the 64bit AMD chips can run all 32 bit applications, and that the Intel chips that have come out since the 64bit AMDs can too (gotta stay competitive after all). However, if you're thinking of getting a dual core processor with your new system (I recommend it) you will have to do some workaround stuff in order to be able to capture video in any version of Premiere other that 2.0. The workaround is only mildly annoying and basically equates to turning off one of the processor cores for processing Premiere. 2.0, however is specifically designed to take full advantage of the dual core capabilities (speeds up that rendering even more ). 6. Hey Liz. Long time.... Just bought one of these this weekend. I like it so far. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  7. I only know of one porn that involves skydiving thusfar (although I probably have a very limited knowledge of the genre), but you should definately broaden the field with another one. Can I be the guy who walks through a scene and says, "What kind of dock is that?" You should reinvent getting "pied", the way only a porn could. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  8. Ok, so who's going to be there? I had a lot of fun when I visited Skydive Alabama last summer. So, assuming the weather doesn't suck, I plan on being there next weekend for the Spring Boogie. Who else? "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  9. Why the fuck would anyone go to such a fucking horrible state as fucking Georgia. It's gonna fucking rain the whole goddamn fucking time anyway. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project

  11. Looks like Skydive Greene County (in Xenia) is calling your name. It's probably about half an hour from Dayton. My understanding is that they will have an Otter for most of the season this year. Good DZ with cool DZO and lots of cool people to jump with. Weatherwise, well... it's Ohio. So in April, that basically means that it's unpredictable. But you should still be able to jump if you keep your eye on the weather. Hope to see you there at some point. 12. My understanding is that the location of this DZ has a fair amount of issues with the driveway and landing area flooding, pretty much any time that it rains. Then they spend all that time advertising that they were going to have an otter when the season starts and now they won't. These things, tend to make me fairly skeptical as to how great of a DZ, if a DZ at all, it will be. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything special. 13. That is a good video. That position (feet first on your back) looks like a tiring position to hold for a whole jump. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  14. Does anyone have any links to some good video's of someone leading an atmonauti dive feet first on their back? I've seen a few pictures, but haven't found any good video of this yet. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project

  18. Sure it does. I had a friend who TOTALLY scored with a 43 year old, who was pretending to be a beautiful 17 year old blond girl on the internet. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  19. "Here's to you Mr. Let Me Jump Before You Guy: Sure, your group shouldn't be getting out first, because you're doing a 2 way head down in front of a 10 way belly dive. But that's ok, you're on staff and know what you're doing. Besides you need to get down "fast" so that you can pack in time to do that AFF video. It doesn't matter that the time difference, in landing, between exiting where you should and making the rest of the plane have to look extra close for canopies below them when they pull, is a measly couple minutes. You've got THINGS TO DO. So go on with your bad self, you've got thousands of jumps. The rules don't apply to you. Besides you WORK here. So here's to you Mr. Let Me Jump Before You Guy, for your continued vigilance in making skydiving as dangerous as Real TV says it is. Keep those newbies on their toes, it's not like they have anything else to worry about." Hehe "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  20. I, on the other hand have found myself addicted to a video game, again. This hasn't happened since I discovered Starcraft in college.
