sangi's alo the one that cranked the big turns that made you cringe on every video you saw of him. and that is what got him in the end. to keep it in your style, even a big idiot on a small wing like me could see where this was going. his video made the rounds even in my country, and when i remarked i knew the guy and made him go back from the katana, i got a pat on the back and the line "well done!!". perfect opportunity for every concerned fellow to say "uhm, so why you keep jumping what you are?". and i got none of that from my friends. now you can go and twist and turn that statement to bend it to your liking. it wont change the fact that that hasnt happened. sorry mate, but i'd rather trust their and my judgement than ANY posters on here. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Raising pull altitudes will not change the entanglement issues. And most of those are people that lost track of altitude.... So it *might* help, but what WOULD help is making them more altitude aware why not? i've only had one reserve ride as of yet, and believe me, it was NO fun helicoptering around at a gazillion miles an hour. being able to get free of your main and at least TRYING to get back into a stable position. it didnt work for me, but i also knew i've had plenty of altitude before i would hit dirt. also, if you havent specifically lost altitude awareness (there's not much that can help you there except if your rig is equipped with a cypres), if you DO have a problem with your reserve it's not at an altitude where whatever you try, it's certain death. at least you can TRY to save your sorry butt. a couple of extra seconds of freefall is NOT worth it. 2500ft is STUPID low, IMHO. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. dude, i dont hate you; i hate your constant bickering on me. and since i brought it up, it seems you also dont like it much. and thanks; i believe i'll be just fine! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

and i believed they were the CIMSA-guys from spain.. it IS confusing, so, whatever; all i know is that my canopy comes from down-under - it does fly pretty straight tough! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

if you follow this link you will be taken to a section of nzaerosports with what appears to be a sticker on a car tthat says "ICARUS world HQ". underneath you will find following quote: so, how is nzaerosports not icarus!? “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

if you do quote me, please quote the whole fucking thing that's relevant. or do you suffer from selective reading like most of the posters here too? i was under the impression you were able to absorb and process more information that is contained in two lines. so yea, you're kindly invited to make your own picture. cheers! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. uhm, what abuse are you getting from me exactly, bill!? just because you guys dont seem to get your shit together doesnt mean the rest of the world does too. the stupidity in this forum alone is staggering, you'd be better off raising your license-requirements. i've seen people denied their AFF1 because they were too fucking stupid. if those standards were to be applied in YOUR country, you could close half your dropzones down.. and as for abuse, you SOOO love to mention me on every 2nd thread you seem to reply to, how is that for abuse? you're kindly invited to come here for a jump or two, so you can PEROSNALLY observe me, THEN you can voice your opinion and stalk me all you want, until then - STOP ABUSING ME. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. BASE canopies are also nice for casual classic accuracy from planes. While consistent landings on a 2cm disc might be a bit much, your packing mat or middle of the pea gravel isn't and you can have a comfortable flare from 2/3-3/4 brakes instead of a full-sink crash. Find yourself something like a used Javelin J7 (I paid $800 for mine with a Raven reserve) and have at it. That'll do you more good when you want to jump into tight landing areas than 10,000+ skydives (apparently not enough to avoid crashing into the trees on a landing area that's a whopping 40-50' long) under a small canopy. completely agree; last time i asked if i could jump my base-canopy (in a skydiving-rig of course) at the dz, i almost got kicked off. but i do land my small wing within 10ft on about 95% of my jumps.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. i'm trying to find a rig! but if you really think that jumping off 380ft bridges is safer.. well, then i dont care much for your 200 bucks. BTW, my last STUDENT-canopy was a 190.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

and help me win this competition by voting for my picture; of course, it's skydiving related! http://www.facebook.com/pages/KTM-Official-Fanpage/208458799225251?sk=app_215755241793511&app_data=587 thanks a bunch! -

B-License Canopy Control Proficency Card
virgin-burner replied to theonlyski's topic in Safety and Training
great, now a USPA license starts becoming a license, and not a treat you pull from a dispenser. there's a reason why a citizen of this country coming back with even a B-license is still considered a student here. to get a license here, all of the above is included, and then some. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. ironically, the people that see me jumping regularly, dont seem to mind. bTW, my last two jumps were on a 265; you owe me 200 bucks! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

gone are the days that you could get a really good deal with karnage krew.. nope, it's not that funny; i was just lucky, probably being one of the last of being so.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda -
i've had sonics basic suit for four years, and it still looks good. then i've ordered a v2.0, whcih got lost in the mail. a new suit was delivered to me in an OUTSTANDING 5 DAYS delivery, no questions asked.. i think sonic has a GREAT customer-support, and it's hard to beat that quick of a (2nd) delivery. boogiemen might be awesome too, but i really love sonic!

while i agree with your points, why does it have to turn into a flame-fest? i DO NOT agree on that.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Thompson "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try." -Yoda -
just to be fair, i think i train my EP's on each and every jump like five times.. and, on my last and first reserve, it seemed to work quite well!
