    Thanks for the advice. Vskydiver and I still haven't made our first balloon jump yet. Karen and I behaved like 1st jump students when we did ours! lol.... It's hilarious how one reacts to unnatural situations, like the apprehension of "falling" off a basket (while wearing a perfectly good rig! lol) first one i made was with an AFFI with around 2000 jumps; we were holding onto each other for dear life! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     my first rig was a 94 or 97 javelin; ugly as fuck, but lasted me two good seasons, it had a fairly new cypres 2 in there, i got it for a (relatively) cheap price, sold it on without the cypres and guess what; i havent made a single cent backwards. of course, original sabre, not the latest PD reserve, but it got me in the air and served me well. oh yea, the buyer was happy to buy it, and i was happy to sell it; which is a good part of the deal! i've sold it when i've ordered a complete new system (ex-cypres). it was a great FIRST rig!
