Can I vote for Rod Tinney? Jim West too, there is just something about a guy who has to put a beech down in a field do to an engine failure on take off, gets everyone off the plane, walk back to the dz, get in another beech and get them to altitude.

don't know what you mean exactly by wired different, but it could be that (I know I'm stretching here) that it's the thrill seeking that causes the wiring. An example would be Alzheimer's disease. They noticed that people with this disease have higher levels of aluminum in their brain. They are not sure which causes which.

I believe if you had to nail it down to one thing it would be life experiences. The people you are around, things that happen to you ect. Experiences have a huge impact on who you are. Example, since I've started jumping I only have 1 wuffo friend left.

well according to Val I was "made for 4-way" just don't tell my freefly buddies ok? Val I will have a belly suit as soon I can find one that doesn't cost too much. The full box is great for doing large formations. It can take a hit and gives you flexibility to absorb some motion. Mantis gives you speed. Start/stop movements are crisper. The speed makes you unstable. That is ok. Mantis hand movements also show your breaks clearer. Great for high speed 4-way.

What are the Dangers of underloading a HP Canopy?

1.2-1.3 is a good level. I don't consider that underloading anything except a crossbraced. And even then the only thing you are doing is wasting money. I would consider .75 : 1 underloading a stiletto any more and you are good. Edit: I forgot to put that my first 25 stiletto jumps were in this range and I had a blast! -

Another thing that instructors have a hard time remembering is that just because I can land a 1.5:1 strait in with no problems, doesn't mean someone with 50 jumps can do the same thing. It's easy now, It would have killed me at 50 jumps. -
I fly box man, but I have tried Mantis. Mantis seems harder to get the hang of, but I'm sure once I do it will rock. If only I made more belly jump

0:15?:0 Some awesome jumps at z-hills and deland including 2 belly jumps in the same day I need to visit skydive orange one of these days. Those people know how to party.

Keep logging! It's very annoying for me when people ask "how many jumps you got" and I have to reply " I dunno?" Besides, who knows in a couple of years you maybe able to say "you know Joe Blow the world champion? I jumped with him when he sucked, see (show log book)"
